One Good Server!

I have been coming to Buffalo's for years and sadly really do like the food. The atmosphere is less than stellar, but the service (server in particular) is the reason my family and I return. Recently, everything is diminishing; this includes, food portions, tv's (located throught the entire place) and friendly managment that seems involoved. Every time we come we ask for Jesse, our server that has worked here for years. She is wonderful, attentive and even remembers our drink order each time we come. She is the ONLY one who EVER makes us feel welcome & provides us with the correct order! Really, this job doesn't take a rocket science degree. Lately, we have been charged for little sides of ranch as well as other items; yet , my son's meal which used to consist of 6 chicken wings, now is only 4 while the price remains the same. The salmon on my salad last week, was really the size of a golf ball. Listen, we aren't obese people or overeaters; it's just sad that in todays economy prices are rising and portions are diminishing. "The Owner", never seems to be in when we ask to speak to him; however he's always in the bar when we are leaving,

Thank god for Kevin, in the bar & Jesse as our server or we would head over to Wildflower a bit more often!

Some of the best places EVER!

Usually eat lunch twice a week and dinner once. Watch out for Tuesday and Sunday night. The have 35 cent wings and are very busy. Service is above average for this type of place. They are very family friendly and with notice will take care of your big groups. If you enjoy wings it is a must go. I'm fron upstate NY and they have the best i have found in NC yet! AAA

Don't Bother

My girlfriend and I were babysitting my two nephews and we decided to stop at Buffalos. The atmosphere was generic and it felt like a poorly decorated Applebees struggling to have a "western" theme. We were seated immediately and our waitress brought us our menus. She was a young girl who looked tired and had the personality of a rock. I ordered the Burrito Wrap but since I am allergic to tomatoes I asked for it to be tomatoe free (no tomatoes or salsa). She then brought us our drinks. My girlfriend asked for an unsweet tea and of course got a sweet tea. Not a big deal...it is pretty easy to get those mixed up. THEN the "wait from Hell" began. About thirty minutes later we asked if there was problem and she assured us it would be out soon. Another 15 minutes went by and our food finally came. The 45 minutes wait better be worth it! I picked up my burrito and looked inside. Lots of salsa!!! The waitress gave me the "deer in the headlights" look when I told her. She took it back and said "I'll have another one made." My patience wearing thin, I sighed and said "How long will that take?" "Not long" she said. Haha. Twenty minutes later she arrived with my meal. My nephews and girlfriend were half way done with their meal before I took my first bite. The burrito was thick and filled me up but was nothing to write home about. (and definitely not worth the over hour wait.) I swore I would not eat there again. The jokes on me because just last night we all went there again (because the Outback next door had an hour and twenty minute wait)

To make a long story short because I'm running out of room here, it was another "wait from Hell" OVER AN HOUR WAIT!!! I had the Mushroom swiss Burger which was the worst tasting burger I've had in my 37 years of life. The meat was over cooked, the chesse was as big as a quarter and I could count the mushrooms on one hand. The fries lacked something as well....taste. Bottom line...don't bother.

Worst Food - But the Wings are Good

One thing you should know about Buffalo Cafe, it is all about bringing out the food and collecting the money. Simply, the food stinks and the manager does not care and she refuses to discuss it with the cooks. The Buffalo's Cobb salad was served incomplete without the Bacon, Blue Cheese, and those crunchy chips and the 2 6oz Pork Chops I don't think they weighed more than 3oz each and maybe it was because they were cooked to long and were about as dry as an empty glass of water. We of course did not pay for the meal which we could not eat and the comment card on their site is always down.

To their credit, the wings are good and perhaps that is the only meal they would like to be known for.

Give them a try, but don't be afraid to ask them to comp your uneaten meal!!

average bar food, poor service

We tried this restuarant last week with some friends and were discouraged by the lack of service and inflexibility to modify menu items. My wife wanted the nachos without the beef/chicken. Instead she wanted black beans. They wanted to charge us the for price of the meat AND charge for a side of beans. Waiter was odd and not very personable. Food was okay and typical, but I would have been more satified eating at home.

Good food - convienent location

Located right off of Creedmoor Rd near 540. I tried the wings and a side of cole slaw. I really liked the wings, the buffalo sauce was perfect. Great selection of drinks. The restaurant is loud and service is OK.

Worst 15 bucks I ever spent

I had a to go order and when I got there the guy that took the order didn't even put it in. Then I had to wait 20 minutes for my wings and missed the Panthers kickoff. That was the whole reason why I ordered "to go", was so that I could make the game. Anyways, the wings were horrible. Worst 15 bucks ever.

Not so Hot

The atmosphere is good and the food can be okay. The service is never above average. The coffee is the worst in town and most of the buffalo wings were less than two inches long. A place called Buffalo's should at least have a respectable wing.

Great burgers

The burgers are terrific here. Haven't tried anything else. I always plan to but then have a hard time not getting the burger. My husband has tried several items and always says it's good. The service is slow at times and they do get pretty packed on the weekends.
