Awesome Awesome!!

I live in columbia, sc , but used Davenport Flowers this past valentines day to send a bouquet to a family member in Raleigh, NC. I am so,so pleased. I have had several incidents where i have gone through FTD and other 1-800 flowers, and my flowers were not delivered!!! Davenport delivered them on time, they were beautiful and above all of that - awesome customer service. I was terrified they would not get delivered, so I was a little bit crazy and called three times on valentines day (knowing they would be busy) - I was expecting to get a little bit of an attitude, but Not once, Not one time did anyone on the phone get snippy at all!!! I was shocked that after my second call they were still so nice!!! Def worth the high price tag for this service.

Davenports provides a great service delivering beautiful and unique floral arrangements in a timely manner...the same day actually, if you live within a reasonable distance from the store, and most importantly the owner offers a very personal touch to her work. In my particular case not only did she personally deliver a bouquet, 2 dozen red roses, to my wife on her birthday but she wrote back with an excellent description of its affect which, considering that I am outside of the country at the moment, means a lot. I would highly recommend Davenport Florist of Raleigh, NC to any one who needs a gorgeous personalized arrangement delivered in a timely manner.

Great Customer Service and Beautiful Work

We had a friend who passed away in Raleigh recently. He also had a home in Myrtle Beach. His Myrtle Beach neighbors wanted to send a memorial to his funeral that represented his love for the beach. I called Davenport Florist and told them what we would like. They sent pictures via e-mail showing the arrangement that was sent. It was absolutely perfect, featuring beautiful tropical flowers and greenery with sea shells, driftwood and other special touches. Not only did it represent the beach but the colors were spectacular. We were very pleased. This arrangement more than passed our expectations. Carlette Peters was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Davenport Florist.

Absolutely Tops - Wonderful Service and Design

When I wanted to order flowers for friends 3,000 miles away whose father had just died, I wondered if I could find a good florist in Raleigh by searching online. I decided to try, and picked Davenport because they already had great Citysearch reviews. They were wonderful - surpassed my expectations in every way.

Further, I had some clear but slightly unusual ideas about what the arrangement should look like. They created exactly what I had asked for ( I saw the arrangement in e-mailed photos). My budget was not terribly tight, but they gave great value for what I paid.

I recommend Davenport very highly, especially the person who oversaw my order, Carlette Peters.

Great Customer Service, Friendly Atmosphere

I had Davenport Florist make a spray for when my father died. I told the owner that I wanted it with mixed flowers and greenery. The spray was beautiful. I have also bought gift items there, and cut flower bouquests there. The customer service is excellent. You do not see this level of customer service in many places anymore. I go to Davenport for all my flower needs. The owner cares about her customers and gives great service and follow up.

Great Experience

I used Davenport recently for both a funeral for a family member and for a birthday. I heard numerous compliments on the spray and plant basket at the funeral and from my friend who received the birthday arrangement. The staff was courteous and paid close attention to my specific request for colors and flowers to be used in the birthday arrangement. The flowers arrived in the time frame they told me.

I like the fact that this is a small florist that offers the kind of customer service many businesses used to provide. I didn't feel like I was lost in the shuffle like I have with some of the larger florists in the area.

Wedding Flowers

For my wedding, I went to Davenport Florist for flowers for the Chapel, the bride and bridesmaid's bouquets, and the reception tables. I do not know flowers very well, so I had to describe the colors and types of bouquets I wanted and for the reception tables I had a vision of how the arrangements should look right up to the type of vase. They took my vision and made it a reality. I had so many compliments on how beautiful they looked. With all the stress of planning a wedding, my flowers were one thing I did not have to worry about. I would recommend Davenport Florist.

Great basket of flowers

I sent my husband a bouquet of fresh flowers and roses and they were the best yet from Davenport. I have ordered online and shopped in the store and the people there have been very helpful, flexible and courteous. I have tried one or two other shops and have not experienced the same level of service elsewhere. Thank you very much Davenport!
