The steaks were excellently prepared,but the service felt rushed and too snobish,I feel that these prices are rediculous,they should lower their prices to service the majority of hard working americans and not just for elitist in NC.

Not worth the money...

My fiance and I recently ate at Ruth Chris in Cary and were greatly disappointed. First, our salads were very boring -- salads we had recently at Bonefish Grill were much, much better and considerably less expensive. Next, our filets were overcooked -- we had ordered them medium well but there were no pink centers. In addition, they were extremely salty. I would have thought that an expensive restaurant that specialized in steaks would know how to cook one. Finally, our sides, while certainly large, consisted of watery mash potatoes and spinach.

I did take the time to write to the Ruth Chris management from their website to let them know of our experience. COO David Sadeghi wrote back to apologize but did not even include a free dessert coupon or anything to entice us back to Ruth Chris to try again.

Our dinner was about $120. I would suggest that your money would be far, far better spent at our favorite restaurant in the area, P.F. Changs. Ruth Chris is not a great value.

Food, Birthday/Anniversary Issues

I recently took my parents to this Ruths Chris for a Birthday/Anniversary celebration. Granted, the service was adequate however when my parents both tried their entrees (petite prime ribs) they both agreed to send their entrees back due to the entree being tough. Instead of chancing another bad order of prime rib my parents opted for petite filets. It took a good 40 minutes before their steaks arrived (needless to say I had finished my entree by this time).

When we finished dinner the waiter swiftly produced our 200.00+ check. I felt it odd that a complimentary dessert was not offered due to the problems with my parents meals and/or the occasions for the dinner which was promptly acknowledged when we arrived for our reservation, when we were seated, and when the bill was presented.

I doubt very seriously that I will be going back to this establishment.

Great food. Pushy service. Stuffy. Everyone got the feeling they were pushing drinks, apetizers, and deserts to boost the tip. Very uncomfortable.
