You only have one more season to hear the symphony at its homebase.

The Landlord
The mama of all Triangle auditoriums, Raleigh Memorial was built in 1932 as a multi-purpose venue. And with its size--2,277 seats--it was inevitable that it would become the home of the North Carolina Symphony.
The Property
While the Auditorium doesn't have a sterling reputation for clear acoustics, the regal decor, from the Doric columns to the floating staircases, makes it worth it just to nestle into one of the oversized seats and become mesmerized in the grandeur of the stage.
The Tenants Other classical acts that have set up camp over the years include violin great Itzhak Perlman and opera star Roberta Peters. This year, the New Century Saxophone Quartet will join the Symphony at a performance during the Raleigh Classical Series.
