The worst thing about Woodys is the staff.

The appear to act like they are doing you a favor when they serve you.

Worst is the bartender during the day working the bar.

The owner should not allow this behavior from HIS staff.

Food is just ok ..its your staff you need to work on.

service is slow

Highly over priced. The charge for take-out, fuel, and food tax. I spent $12.00 just for a deli sandwich, fries, and a small drink!! I wouldn't recommend this place. Oh, did I forget to mention the french frie to waffle frie upgrade fee? Well here is what the manager had to say:

Hate this bar!

The service is terrible! The pool tables are cheap and uneven. The food is ok, but WAY over-priced! Harrison's is a much better place. Service is great at Harrison's, food is excellent and the prices are good too! Try Harrison's next time instead of Woody's - it's a great change!

Best wings, period. Great place to watch the game.

I've had wings all over the country, and I keep coming back to Woody's for the best. It's a sports bar, so expect smoke and noise. Too many TVs to count, so you can always find what you want or ask them to put it on for you (no PPV though). Bartenders are great, but sitting out on the floor can be a crapshoot. Most of the waitresses are great, but one or two are really inattentive. Tuesday is wing night and is always crowded. Wednesday is trivia night an is standing room only. Sunday's for the game will fill up too so get there a little early. Generally great people and a great time. Good beer specials every day as well.

• Pros: Great atmosphere, great bartenders, BEST WINGS.
• Cons: Some of the wait staff stink, some of the food items are pricier than they should be.

No silly themes here: This place is the consummate sports bar--it's about sports, plain and simple.

In Short
Redskins, Bears and Packers fans call Woody's home, as do many others--so many, the bartenders can't keep track. Don't forget about all the college ball fans who meet here or the Cary softball teams in red clay-covered uniforms who drag themselves in after games. You won't find the bartenders in faux sports-team outfits here. Budweiser ads plaster the walls and big-screen TVs broadcast every major sporting event on the planet.

great bartender

Bartender was great but other wait staff horrible. Smokey but bearable. Food was very good

Some yuppie trash but not enough to make the evening unpleasant.

Great Place

Best wings in town. No competition. Service is slow but they are always crowded. Maybe should hire some more help. Otherwise, you can't beat this place.

Horrible service with an attitude..

I am a very infrequent lunch visitor to Woody's, but after my visit today I will never give them another cent. I visited Woody's just to get a drink while waiting for my car to get serviced at Cary Car Care. The waitress was unbeliveably rude. She laughed at my order, she was slow and I had to walk to the bar to get my requests fulfilled, she didn't give me any utensils, she never returned to fill my cup. Drop the attitude and be nice to your customers, otherwise people like me will go out of their way to write a poor review and never return to the establishment.

Key Words... SPORTS BAR

Walter needs to dump the jukebox. It's called Woody's SPORTS Tavern and Grill. Not Woody's Dance Club Family Fun House. Countless times you try to go in and enjoy a game, but can't listen to it because someone has put $50.00 in the jukebox and it's blaring throughout the place. If you want to hear music, go to a dance club. It's a Sports Bar, Sport's should be the number 1 priority. Service would be a 10 if they all worked as hard as Jenn, but to be fair, they have weeded out some bad servers of late. Kim, Chad, and Krysta do a good job also. Food is always great. Get rid of that jukebox, Walter, and you've got the best sport's bar around.

Great wings...BAD SERVICE!!!

The wings and sandwiches at woody's are some of the best I have had, but the service is terrible! They don't care about anything but getting a tip. One waitress we had just walked out because she had a bad day, and it caused us to wait 30 more minutes to find out what happened. They still charged full price, and 20% gratuity! They frown at you when they ask for your order, and trust me....if the wings weren't soo good, I would tell them where to shove them!
