A Rare restaurant that offers the best of both worlds
by dulitl at Citysearch
The food is so delicious. I've been their numerous times over the past four years and every time I've gone for dinner, there has always been a crowd at the restaurant. Don't be bogged down by a few bad reviews. You can always judge a restaurant by how busy they consistently are. The fish in the sushi is always fresh because you can tell by the color of the dark red tuna and the vibrant color of the raw salmon. I have absolutely no complaints with their sushi. As for their thai food, I've yet to have a thai dish that I haven't enjoyed. Their pad thai and duck dishes are incredibly tasty.
As for the bad things, you may not get the service of a five star restaurant or the best possible table in the house, but I'm always thoroughly impressed with their food. Yes, they may be a bit pricy in comparison to other thai or sushi restaurants, but you get what you pay for, a delicious and consistent meal each and every time.
- Pros: Great food
- Cons: Service
Average Fare
by m_erana at Citysearch
As far as Thai food goes this is quite an average establishment. The two times I've been, the noodles have been overcooked, and the meats been a bit over done. The Sushi is decent but I had to send some of my pieces back because the fish smelled 'fishy'. Which correlates to older fish.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Location, Parking
NOT Kid Friendly!
by msmikki at Citysearch
The food is good, the service is ok, the prices are high and your kids are NOT welcome here!
I brought my son in and requested a high chair and the host looked very annoyed with my request. I was waiting for my friend who also has a small child and she was treated the same way. She told me that she had brought her daughter here several times and was always treated the same way and made to feel uncomfortable. We felt very uncomfortable during the whole lunch and felt rushed to finish.
This is definitely not a child friendly environment and expect to get the cold shoulder when bringing in children.
Needless to say we won't be dining here anymore!
- Cons: Not kid friendly, overpriced, staff not friendly
Closed Kitchen!
by tuckerkevin at Citysearch
We arrived for dinner at 9, had our meal and were ready for dessert only to find that the kitchen had closed on us while we ate. There was no warning, no last calls. Our food was great and the service was ok, but we were kind of looking forward to a certain dessert. I find it bad buissiness to close the kitchen on people you have decided to seat, it's not like this is a fast food place.
