Don't give these people your business!

My daughter and I went into Bridal Gallery looking for a wedding gown and it was the worst experience. I was stunned at how rude and unprofessional the staff was there. You were basically on your own to dig through the dresses and when it came time to trying them on, the sales staff did nothing at all to help you. Trust me, we weren't looking for any special treatment, but it would have been nice to have someone at least help us and answer our questions. But the very worst part of it was when my daughter found a lovely dress which we possibly would have purchased, but when we asked her who the dress was by she REFUSED to tell us. I couldn't believe this. She reassured me she would tell me who made the dress after I put a down payment on the order. I thought she MUST be crazy. I told her you don't make a major purchase like a wedding gown without knowing who makes it. FYI: All the wedding expert books I have read state that when you find any store that refuses to tell you the brand you should walk out immediately. Take my advice, don't go to BRidal Gallery. If you are looking for truly wonderful service and beautiful gowns, go to either Traditions in North Hills or Enchanted Moments in Fuquay.

Overpriced

once again like the other people that have been here the employees are rude... the owner is the worst. The dresses are overpriced too, so no need to go here. I got a bridesmaid dress for $210.00 and then saw it for $120.00 just down the street at a different store. When i asked the owner to cancel my order (two days later) or at least match the price of the other store she said no. So i got stuck buying a dress for a lot more then it was worth.

Horrible Service!

I called the gallery to see if they had dresses in stock and the owner said no, but they have that are very similar. When I got there I asked where I could find the dresses and her reply was, "they are all mixed in." So then I asked where certain designers were and again they were all mixed in. I searched the store without any help and when I finally found a dress I liked she wouldn't tell me the designer. I asked her to get a dress for me and she just walked away! I will NEVER buy anything from this store. I cannot believe how rude the owner was.

• Cons: THE OWNER IS THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET.

Worst Customer Service

I wonder how a place that treats customers that bad, is still in business!

I wish I had read these reviews before we even went there. When we first got there, looking for the dress, we were greeted by a nice girl at the reception desk. Too bad we only saw her for about 30 seconds. Then the owner came. The rudest woman I've seen in my life. She's definitely angry at something and in need of some therapy.

I recommend some customer service training, after all it is because of their customers that they are still in business!!

They don't even deserve the one star!!!

Worst wedding gown shopping experience

I have been shopping for my wedding dress for almost 4 weeks and have been to various wedding salons and this was by far the worst! I wish I had read the reviews and I would not have wasted my time.

When my mother and I arrived at the salon, we walked in and the owner at the front desk just stared at us, she did not offer a hello or ask if she could help. Finally one of the staff let us know the lay out of the store and offered a dressing room. When I started trying gowns on they were laying on the floor in the dressing room (not hung up) and the staff just stood around and did not offer help in clipping the dresses for size or any information on the particular dresses. I wanted to see how a veil would look with the gowns but the ones they offered were laying in piles on the floor and were dirty and ripped.

Trying on wedding gowns, you should feel like the store is taking care of you and helping you through the process. I felt like this store was trying to scam brides! My mother and I wanted to take pictures of me in the gowns so we could remember them later- you CAN NOT do this. Also, they have cut out all tags and will not tell you who designed any of the wedding gowns you try on. They will only tell you after you order one!!?? You can not write down dress styles or any information to take from the store and dress prices are scratched out on tages and new prices written next to them. There is totally something wrong with a store that will not tell you all the information on a gown before ordering it. I ended up trying on a dress that I REALLY liked but would NEVER give this store my business.

Stay away from this store!! The owner was biting and rude to employees and staff while we were there. The whole experience is one that any bride would want to forget!

STAY AWAY

TERRIBLE SERVICE! This is the only review I have ever written for a store but I have been so shocked at the level of service from this store and particularly the OWNER, Manu, that I felt I had to. This is no place to get your or your bridesmaid's dresses from. I would give this place no stars if that was an option.

Each time I called and left a message directly with Manu for follow-up, she has indicated she would call me back and she never (not one time) called me. When you call, Manu acts as if you are bothering her. She has no time to help you with your questions. They are also extremely disorganized as you can tell when you walk in there and take a look at the front desk.

She was also rude to my bridesmaids when they called. Everyone knows bridal dress sizes run completely diffferent than regular clothes but Manu does not want to help because she does not want the responsiblity of being held accountible should a dress not fit. She does not seem to think it is her job to be helpful.

Please go elsewhere!!! I bought my gown from Alexia's Bridal in Cary and I would feel so much happier if I had ordered my bridemaids dresses there as well.

The Bridal Mart in Burlington is much nicer and carries the same lines as this place.

When choosing a dress looking through the comments are not always helpful. I have notice that happy and nice people tend to give their comments in person and not post them.

Bridezilla's are another story. Being treated like your day is special and like the lovely person you are you will fill like a princess. If you expect to be treated like the queen of the world and no one else matters is another story. I bought my fairytale dress here and am in the alteration process. I have received incredible service and everyone has been friendly. I am also not rude to them. So I would recommend this shop to all if you enjoy people who remember your name ,care about your day, and treat you with personal friendliness.

Terrible Customer Service

Thank goodness I read reviews before I bought my dress from here! I found the same dress online for half the price.

I did, however, buy my veil here. The word is buy is relative, because I gave them the money, but weeks later they still have not even called the veil place to see if it is in stock. My wedding is in 3 months! I have called them every day since buying the veil for an update and they not only admitted to never checking their voicemail, they had just "not gotten around" to picking up the phone to see if my veil is in stock.

Naturally, they have a strict no refunds or returns policy, but I'm considering calling the police and reporting theft instead because they took my money but refuse to render a service.

Poor Service and Overpriced!!!

I am so relieved to see I am not the only one who thinks the owner was absolutely rude towards her customers. I am in the customer service industry and let me just say that she acted very unprofessional and defnitely does not accomodate her clients. The first time I entered the boutique I was helped by a young lady who worked at the Hillsbourough St store. She was very helpful and offered terrific service. When I returned to show my mother the dress, I dealt with the owner who from the moment I entered the boutique treated me very disrespectly and didn't seem at all interested in helping me get the dress I needed in the short amount of time I needed it in. In the end, the owner basically told me in a snotty tone to get my dress elsewhere. HOW CAN YOU TELL A BRIDE THAT!?!?! We were nothing but nice and treated nothing like a bride should be. I was so upset that I couldn't even look at the woman after I took the dress off. Needless to say it worked out for the best. I got the dress at another boutique $200 cheaper and they actually called the vendor to see if the same dress was already made in my size for a wedding at a later date so I wouldn't have to pay rush shipping charges. Now that is true customer service!

Don't get me wrong, not all the associates at the Bridal Gallery are rude and unhelpful; but, don't get your expectations up on being treated like a princess!

great service

I just want to thank Bridal Gallery for the great service I received. From beginning to end I worried about every detail of my wedding except one. I found my dress ,my bridesmaids, my moms dress and every step of the way was made easy by the staff here. The alterations were perfect. I felt as if my gown was custom made for me it fit so well. Thank for making my day that much more special.
