Perfection

My family has a tradition like a lot of other families, we go out to dinner to celebrate birthdays. Whoever's birthday it is gets to pick where we go. Somebody picked Outback in Cary a while ago and now that's where we ALWAYS go. Everyone loved it so much that we ALL pick Outback Cary now! The staff is wonderful, attentive and prompt. They all go out of their way to make your dinning experience pleasant. The food is out of this world!! We always have the blooming onion! The prime rib is off the hook! The bread they serve as an appetizer is always warm and delectable!! I cannot say enough good things about this place. We have gone to the Outback in Garner and while it was good, it was noting compared to Outback in Cary! The food and the servers are much better in Cary. It's almost twice as far to go to Cary than it is to go to Garner but it is so worth the drive! Run don't walk to Outback in Cary, N.C.!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: Everything, food, servers, atmosphere and even the parking is good! We even had a large party (15)!!
- Cons: NONE!!!!! You might have to wait a few minuets but thats because it's wonderful! Perfect!
Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor.

In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
Great steak, great experience overall

Outback has become my husband and my favorite restaurant for our special date nights. Although it's too expensive to eat at all the time, we do enjoy "splurging" every few months or so. (A typical meal of 2 steaks, an appetizer and waters cost us around $50 before tip). We typically spend 2-3 hours there without even noticing because we're enjoying the food and ambiance so much. The food has always been excellent. We had a slight problem with our order the last time and they immediately fixed it and treated us to a free dessert. The wait staff are always very polite and helpful. The only down sides are the long waits on the weekends, but that is to be expected at a great restaurant. Calling ahead is recommended.
- Pros: great food, excellent staff
- Cons: hard to find parking sometimes, long waits on weekends
Perfect every time!

The Outback in Cary is definately the best steakhouse around! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they made sure to uphold the motto, "no rules". Everything was prepared just the way I wanted, even the picky requests. I noticed that people in the restraunt who had birthdays were recognized with the traditional song, not an obnoxious version. After a bloomin onion and a perfectly cooked steak, the chocolate tower was one of the most impressive desserts I have ever seen!
- Pros: great food and service, call ahead seating
- Cons: long waits
Lives up to expectations

This is your typical Outback, good food and good atmosphere with good service. Plus, it's conveniently located by Fresh Market so you can grab some goodies on the way home.
- Pros: food, atmosphere
- Cons: price
