Not worth It
by sbeach07
We went in on a saturday night, right around midnight, had heard it was new "trendy" spot. Well , were we disappointed. The bar was filthy, wet and sticky, and the bar staff should have been cleaning it. The barstaff was generally friendly, but nothing special. Rather boring atmosphere, lighting too bright. Music was more like top forty techno, nothing cutting edge and the crowd, well right off the farm. Never seen so many plaid shirts and khakis. And the women, lets just say some in the gutter look better. Word of advice, make sure your tetanus shot is updated and have penicillin ready for afterwards. Just not worth the effort.
- Pros: location
- Cons: ambience, music, filthy, too bright, not much to it

In Short
Although Dirty is a membership lounge (members can revel in their social privileges in the VIP lounge/balcony among several other extras), non-members can drink with a drink-by-the-day passand enjoy the community features like the 80" HD monitors, food and $2 beer specials. The space also features a raised stage for live bands, a dance floor and a slew of small tables for a little more intimacy.
Great Music but...

The Dj played great dance music, and the staff was friendly, but the over-all place is TOOOOOOO small.
Best Bar in Raleigh
by andrearay
The Dirty is definitely the hottest place to be in Raleigh. The Music is great and they know how to make a great cocktail. I have gone many times and never been disappointed. My girlfriend had her birthday party in the VIP section and we had an especially rowdy time. The Dirty is fun and lends a little to the imagination. Oh! and dont let me forget the stage you can break it down on and the the pole in the corner. I would definitley check it out.
- Pros: Parking, Music, Atomoshpere
