Best Pest Control Company!

I have used many pest control companies over the years and Triangle Pest has been the best by a landslide! I had to write and say they have the nicest, most knowledgeable and professional technicians. Their rates are BETTER and they're MORE thorough than anyone else! Their website is also excellent and I love being able to communicate with them on-line since that's more convenient for me. I have no more ant or spider problems since I started using them!!

• Pros: They were there the minute they said they would be there - no "window"

Good pest control service

We have used other exterminator services. TPC uses products that work and they have good technicians who know what they are doing. The other companies are not effective at getting rid of insects (ants, spiders & roaches).

No Problems Since I Started Service

I have been using Triangle Pest Control for over two years now. They take care of my Pest Control and they performed a termite treatment on my home as well. While it is difficult to know how well they did their job, I was pleased with their service and I have not seen any insects inside my home since I started with them (which is great!). Their staff is very friendly and I like the fact that they call me before they come out.

Triangle Pest Control did an excellent job with my termite treatment

Triangle Pest Control did a great job with the termite treatment at my house. I got quotes from many local pest control companies (both large and small) and their's was the most comprehensive and was very competitive as well.

They provided a quote that was specific to my house (which has a crawl space, finished basement, patio...ie: lots of differing condtions) and not just a "we're gonna treat yer house for termites" kind of quote. I am a professional estimator, so I appreciate a quote with a clearly defined work scope.

Their payment terms were very good too (one company wanted all the money up front !!! Uh huh!!! Sure!!)

The work itself was done very efficiently, safely, and professionally. It was done when they said it would be done, and exceeded my expectations. I like them so much I have recommended them to my Mom for her pest control needs.

Look no further. Triangle Pest Control should be your choice for your pest control needs.

Tried but Failed

I contacted Triangle Pest Control to perform a home inspection for wood boring insects. They promised a faxed report by end of the day following the inspection. I did not receive the report as expected and had to call and request it. I then called the home owner to let her know I would forward her a copy only to find out she already had a copy. Now why does the homeowner get a copy before the buyer and purchaser of the inspection? Following this, I noticed termite damage not mentioned on the report during my personal home inspection; obvious damage on a floor joist. Triangle Pest revisited the residence to reinspect after my complaint and confirmed it was in fact termite damage. Promised a new, revised report I again had to call and request that the report be sent. While reviewing the report I discovered why the home owner got a copy of the report before me; they had her listed as the buyer and me as the owner. I called back to request a third revised report with all pertinent information corrected and was informed the report would be sent to me the same day. I did not receive the report and had to call a third time to request a report for a service that I had already paid for up front. Triangle Pest Control has a friendly staff and were easy to speak with over the phone, but ultimately they tried and failed miserably at holding their end of the bargain. I will not recommend them.

Quick and easy pest removal

Triangle Pest Control is a great pest company. My parents in Cary recommended them. They came out to our place almost immediately and took care of our ant and spider problem. My husband and I were very impressed with the convenience (website) and thoroughness the tech showed as he went around our yard. Everyone from the lady I first spoke to on the phone, the tech and I think it was the manager (or owner) were all so nice and friendly. The manager called a few days later to if everything was okay.

We have had no more problems and because we are so busy we want to now use their quarterly pest control service to prevent any more ant and spider problems down the road. It makes it so nice now I don't have to worry anymore about those miserable spiders. The Triangle Pest guys will now take care of everything which is such a relief for me.

We highly recommend them.

Great work! Great price! No More Ants.

Finally, we found an honest company that really cares about the service they provide. They were very upfront and clear about their different service plans, guarantees and prices. They were competitive in price for both pest control and termite treatment. The tech took me around my home and showed me several things that I could do to prevent future infestations. I really appreciated them not trying to ?high pressure? me with some sales presentation when they came out. Have had no problems since. I will continue to use these guys for both our future termite and pest control.

P.S.

They were so easy to find and reach using their web site and they called us 2 weeks later to make sure my ants were gone. I like that!

Poor customer service

I had pests in a rental home I recently purchased. The company indicated that their services were guaranteed for 30 days. Since the problem persisted I asked them to go to the house until the problem was fixed during the warranty period, as they apparently were not using the right chemical strength to treat the problem. The company refused to go unless I paid them another $90. I had to hire another company to get the problem fixed. I have dealt with other pest companies before, they usually deliver on their promises, unfortunately Triangle Pest Control is not one of them.

Wish I could give them five stars. They started that way . . .

I received a special from Triangle Pest Control through one of those "Welcome New Neighbor" programs, where I would receive a free termite inspection if I signed up for a years' worth of service.

In the beginning, I really couldn't say enough nice things about them. The gal who works in the office, Pam, was sweet and helpful. My tech, Jeremy, was also friendly and did a tremendous job. They took care of black ants in the house and fire ants outside.

Unfortunately, the longer I've been a client of theirs, the less they've done. I don't know if they just relaxed, figuring that since I was happy in the beginning I'd likely stay with them, or what - but technicians stopped keeping their appointments. They'd sometimes come early, leaving before the appointment was scheduled without leaving me a phone message or note, sometimes they came HOURS late, and sometimes they came not at all. It got to the point where I had to start calling the office myself the day of the appointments to make SURE someone was coming, and most times I'd hear an "Oh, yeah! We forgot!"-type response. A little frustrating, since I would have received email confirmation at time of scheduling the appointment.

I expected the technicians to ask me at the end of a year when I'd like my termite inspection done. They did not. I had to call and schedule things (and then confirm - they'd forgotten) myself. To be fair, Mike, the tech manager, did a great job.

At time of termite inspection, I had wasps' nests in the eaves above my front door. I asked Mike about it, and was told someone would be by within a few days. Nope. A week later I called and asked specifically for it to be done. I was told Jeremy would stop by some time that day. After he'd left, I found one of the nests sitting on our front porch. Frustrated, I called the office and was told to "just sweep it off the porch." They couldn't even take care of the nests I was paying them to remove?

I'll be going elsewhere.

• Pros: Great service at the beginning, and they got rid of my fire ants.
• Cons: Unreliable, from making appointments to the work they were being paid to provide.

Great Results, Good Price

I had a problem with ants in my pantry. I called them on a Saturday and they came out the same day. Problem was solved on the first visit. I haven't seen any ants since.
