Thank you very much Gary & staff.

Dear Gary,
today I decided to put new tires on my vehicle,
after checking out some other retailers I decided to
make business at your location in S Saunders St.
having the convenience of not ordering and wait for
shipping neither paying extra for shipping fee
some other shops charge.
As usual after I left your store as a happy customer
with my toddler son, didn't realized accidentally
I forgot my wallet with important personal
documents credit cards -and cash-;
after a few hours called to check if by any chance
was this happening at your place;
Without hesitation front desk gentleman
(tall, glasses and a baseball cap, polite african-american
man in his 50's) -apologize for my poor description but I
easily tend to forget names- returned my wallet.
Appreciate such kind action, certainly I don't regret
stopping by and I'd recommend you to my friends
and encourage people to support our local business,
and having HONESTY is a great plus!
Best regards
Mr. Fiscal & son.

Having purchased a full set of tires from Murray's several months ago, (which they were cheaper than the local warehouse club) I've gone back for another set. The staff is beyond outstanding ! Very knowledgeable of inventory and was able to order the tires we wanted within an hour. The technician was very peculiar and insured I was balanced on a dime. Driving an SUV, I've had other shops do the tires and try to tell me it was because of my truck. I drove away from Murrays both times smooth. Even though on the outskirts of downtown Raleigh, an older building,(yet well maintained - for a shop...very clean waiting areas inside and out) I think it's on the original site...tells you this family owned business must know something to be around as long as it has, how to treat you right, both in the pocket book and in customer relations. I trust the staff fully, to the point we told our daughter if her car starts acting funny or noises go to no other place than Murray's, I'm confident there will be no unnecessary repairs.
- Pros: curtious, knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing
- Cons: tight parking, full lot (goes to show great place)
great customer service

I blew out a tire on the way home from a trip to FL. Having spent my disposal income on vacation Murray's was able to replace my tire with a more highly rated used tire quickly and inexpensively!
- Pros: Great customer service, lots of choices, knowledgable staff
- Cons: not the best part of town

Save Money at Murray's
by twpayne
I recently noticed that my tires were bald and that I needed new brakes. Being new to the area and working downtown, I have not been to a tire dealer here in Raleigh. Luckily I found Murray's Tire. They had the tires that I needed in stock at a great price and did a great job on my brakes. The people were great to work with and explained what they were doing every step of the way. They saved me over $150 compared to the dealership and another tire store. These guys are family owned and have been around for a long time because they treat you right.
- Pros: Great Prices, Great Service, Helpful Staff
