Best Day Spa Around

I have tried a few different massage therapists and they have all been FANTASTIC! The front desk was so helpful and were not into pushy sales....just education. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone!

the worst eyebrow wax ever!!!!

I have gone to NB for years. I had an appointment today for an eyebrow wax before family photos and vacation. I told the lady I love my shape I just needed them cleaned up. I then told her I like my brows a little thicker and I do not like thin brows. After only two strips of wax and 20-25 mins of tweezing I left in tears. I cried my eyes out. Nothing can make it right! I walked in my house and my husband said what in the world did you do to your eyebrows. My brows are skinny, skinny with no shape at all. Looks like a brow job from the 70"s. Basically she did not listen to my needs at all. I hate that such an unpressional person as been hired at NB. I will never be back. I hope this saves many of you many tears and months of trying to grow your brows out.

Waxing Nightmare!

OMG! I've had several bikini waxes over 10 years and this was by far the WORST bikini wax ever! I was red and swollen for 5 straight days. I couldn't even take off my shorts at the beach the entire time. The lady that did the wax never pulled my skin tight or put any pressure over the waxed area at all. I thought this was protocol. Please do not get a bikini wax here. I left a message with the manager but no return call.

This spa is terrible!

This spa is terrible! I went in for a hot stone massage a couple weeks ago and had Kelly. She was dropping rocks on the floor and coughing and there was just tons of noise going on - completely NOT a relaxing massage experience. After that time, I decided to try another service on Valentine's day and get a manicure/pedicure in hopes that it would be better. It wasn't. I had Angela and she was very nice and took her time, but the quality of the manicure was terrible. By the time I got home from dinner that night, the polish had already worn away from my fingers, the white of the french manicure was messy, and there were bubbles under the polish. The next morning I took a shower and the polish on my pinky nail was completely gone! For these prices, this spa is definitely NOT worth it!

Go to La Therapie in Cary, I've never had a bad experience.

Really bad experience

First time trying out this spa and received a 90 minutes massage. It was probably the worst massage I've ever gotten in the 10+ years I've been getting massages. There really wasn't much massage going on, more like poking and squeezing. You know it's bad when you are 20 minutes in and can't wait for it to be over. Not only was the massage bad, the room was overall cold, the masseuse didn't use enough oil on his hands and you could hear the employees talking so it wasn't a quiet serene atmosphere which is what you want (and expect) out of a spa.

Needless to say that was my first and last spa treatment at Natural Body Spa.

• Pros: Interior design of spa
• Cons: poor massage, not a quiet atmosphere

great massage.....LOTS of construction noise

I get massages ragularly and wanted to try a new place. The website looked fabukous as did the treatment I requested. My therpaist was great, did a fantastic job. The big con.....A LOT of outside consdtruction noise. not sure if it was upstiars or next door but it was so loud it was impossible to relax fully. The other therapists were also a bit loud in the hallways. Every spa I have been to has been church quiet beyond the lobby doors- not this one, lots of chatter in the halls.

GREAT massage but not the best "spa" feel.

Nightmare Spa Experience

I came in for a massage and pedicure and after seeing the spa I thought it was going to be a wonderful experience. It is a very pretty spa however the services aren't as great. They ended up doing the pedicure first...I had to wait 45 min. after my appointment time before I was even taken back. The girl was very stressed b/c she was so late, kept leaving the room, started cleaning her tools while my nails were drying (& was supposed to be relaxing) and then she fell hitting all of my nails and had to basically start over. By the time I got up she had painted gold leaves on my big toes that I had NOT requested. Then I got to my massage...by this point I am way more stressed out then when I walked in the door. During the massage my pedicure got completely ruined. When it was done my masseuse was no where to be found. I had to walk myself up front. What's worse is when I wrote into the web site about my disappointing experience I never even got so much as an "I'm sorry". It was the worst treatment I have ever received at a spa!!

Best Massage in the triangle

9/29/07 - 3rd visit to Natural Body Spa... Natural Body Spa and Shoppe continues to deliver consistent, top quality friendly service, an excellent deep tissue / signature massage, at a reasonable / comparative price by skilled staff, in a very relaxing atmosphere. I've been very pleased with everyone, especially David. David listens carefully to your specific needs at the onset and with his hands /skill throughout the session. I'll continue to drive past several other spas to go to Natural Body.

• Pros: Great atmosphere, clean facilites, aromatherapy, skilled & friendly staff
• Cons: North Hills Parking can be tricky ---- Just go down to 2nd floor and take the escalator up

great service and knowledge

I was very hesitant to get a facial and was scared that it would make me breakout. I kept hearing such good things from a group of women that go to a girl at natural body and i kept asking who to go to. I went to a girl who made me feel very comfortable and i could NOT believe how great my skin looked! So, i decided to send my teenagers with acne to Heather at Natural Body and she really cleared my kids skin up.....and even my son now begs to go get facials. She went beyond our expectations and took special interest in each of our skincare needs. It was great and we will be back time and time again. I now can say that i cannot believe i did not get facials for all these years.

• Cons: hard to get an appointment last minute

green spa is golden

The storefront offers a wide selection of spa products, including eco-friendly lines Jurlique (I love their products!!!) and Aveda. The spa side is elegant and quiet. I have greatly enjoyed Jurlique anti-bacterial facials, done by Shelby. I also had an excellent massage in January, but that therapist has moved out of the area.

• Cons: parking at North Hills is tough
