Best local day spa
by NikiF
Synergy is my favorite local spa for massage and other body work therapies. Anna and her staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The spa is very clean and quiet. They have great deals on a regular basis and their 20% birthday postcard is one I look forward to every year! Also if you ever need your makeup done for an event or just for fun, Anna, the owner, is the one to ask for.
- Pros: great ambience, fantastic staff
- Cons: None
Wonderful spa experience!
by maohnc
I recently visited Synergy Spa for the first time and had a 50-minute Aromatherapy Relaxation Massage. From the moment I walked in the door I felt relaxed. The beautiful facilities create a calming environment. I was promptly escorted to the lounge to relax while waiting (for just a few minutes) for my massage to begin. The massage I received was amazing! I felt so relaxed by the time it ended, that I could barely walk out the door. I was very impressed with this spa and will return many times in the future.
- Pros: Beatiful spa; Welcoming staff; Fantastic massage services
- Cons: None!

Heavenly gift for the Mommy-to-Be
by RaleighMom4
One of the nicest gifts I received before the birth of my fourth child (yes, I have 4 children) was a Prenatal Massage spa package at Synergy. It was just the sort of pampering a Mom-to-Be needs before that big day that changes everything. The massage was wonderful, the pedicure devine (especially when you can no longer reach over your own belly to touch your toes). The experience was just the sort of gift any expectant mother would love.
PS Daddy-to-Be this is the perfect gift for the woman who is carrying your child. Something she will remember with fondness for years to come=big points in the husband department!
- Pros: Wonderful pre-natal massage package
- Cons: None
Bliss!

I received a gift certificate for a hot stone massage and hot stone pedicure from my husband, and it was delightful.
- Pros: The most relaxing place ever
- Cons: Expensive
Talented Massage Therapists
by HadleyUrbino
I've had more than a few good experiences at Synergy Spa, and have made it one of my favorites in my GPS. (Since I'm new to town, I still save GPS favorites so I don't get lost!) Great massage therapists. Great facialists. A quality establishment. m
- Pros: Serene, Convenient, Friendly
- Cons: Small entryway and front desk
the absolute best!
by angelalucynyc
I have been to many top spas around the world (Adler Therme in Siena Italy, Bliss in NYC, Bellagio in Vegas, etc) and this hidden gem offers services on par with the best in the world! I recommend this spa without reservation!
relaxing atmosphere, friendly people, wonderful service
by Wolfpack04
I had my first manicure at Synergy Spa the other day and the experience was wonderful. The people were friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Although I only had the manicure (which turned out great), if the other services live up to the same high expections, this place is a hidden gem (its tucked away in a little strip shopping center off Glenwood).
The even called me the next day to thank me for my patronage.
I will definitely be a return customer.
- Pros: atmosphere, staff
- Cons: none

Response to Iatria's closing from Synergy Spa
by ownerofsynergyspa
The owners of Synergy Spa are devastated by the closing of Iatria Spa’s. We can not imagine what it would feel like to have to walk away from our business, our amazing team and the clients who support us. We worry that the closing of this spa sends out the message that our industry is suffering due to the economy. Of course we are all feeling the effects of the economy, however there are several spas as well as many businesses that are holding their own. Our real concern is for the employees who are now faced with having to find a job in a market that has very few options. Additionally, we are also concerned that consumers will hesitate to buy gift certificates or frequent spas. If you are a former employee with a solid work history, please email us your resume (email address can be found on our website). If we don’t have a position available for you, we have numerous contacts within the industry and will try to help you locate a new position. If you are a client left holding an Iatria Gift Certificate, we will work with you to redeem these with us; we only ask you give us some time so that we can figure out a way to best accommodate everyone. For more information on redeeming your gift certificates with Synergy Spa please check our website in the coming weeks for details.
- Pros: concerned owners
