Horrible Experience with drinks only. This was my first and last time ever visting Lynnwood Grill. When we first arrived on a Saturday night it was packed. There was hardly any seats at the bar. We ordered a round of drinks while waiting for some seats to open. Once we noticed a group of people leave their seats with no drinks, we took the opportunity and snagged the seats while we could. The bartender said that we could not sit there long b/c those seats were reserved for the people who had just left!! Never have I ever heard of a bar or restaraunt reserving seats for people. The bartender stated that they were out having a cigarette. We blew off the bartender and continued to enjoy our drinks. A few minutes later we had a manager approach us and told us to give up our seats. After wating over 30 minutes for a seat to become available it was now being taken away from us. A paying customer is a paying customer. Needless to say, we will never be back to this establishment for food or drinks due to the piss poor management and "reserving" of seats to people at the bar. This would never fly at any bar in any city, in any state, in the USA. It was all I could do to not cause a scene! Overall, typicaly sports bar w/ tvs but don't expect to find/keep a seat.....unless your a smoker of course!!!

Food & Service Not Good - No Response to Note Sent to Them. Lost our order. After a long wait was disappointed with the food. Said something then but no money taken off the bill. So decided to send them a note via their website so manager could review it and at least get back to me. Never got a response. Felt then that they did not really care. So the result is I will not go back and will tell friends what my thoughts are about their attitude and food quality.

Mixed thoughts. THE WAIT- Many times in the old building my husband and I tried to go to Lynnwood but there was always too long of a wait. Once we went really late and finally got in. The staff was great when we did and so was the food. So much so in fact that last night we decided to check them out at the new building thinking since they added so many more tables the wait wouldn't be as long. Found that to be the case :)

AMBIANCE-

The first thing I noticed when I went in was how ridiculously loud it was inside and the music seemed to echo off the walls too. Solution: Sit outside upstairs. Good choice overall, the temperature was nice and the facilities are nice up there, however, while better than inside, it was still too loud. I realize it's a bar and all but the point is to meet up with friends and unwind after a long hard day at the office and you have to REALLY yell at one another :(

FOOD-

From my previous experience I know they had good beer and "pub fare." I got beer, appetizers, and a salad because that's what I was craving. The salad was mediocre for the price. It was pretty fresh and it tasted good, it was just not really as much as you would expect to get of "rabbit food" for the price mainly. My husband got a little pizza. Now I knew they were famous for their pizza but I had just never tried it before. Let me say if you want a delicious pizza, this is the place to get it! ZOMGeee yummeh. So the morale of this story is don't get a salad, get a pizza :) Also on the list of things I recommend: pickle chips & dirty chips. I saw someone had complained about the salad dressing, I had plenty of dressing for both my salad and for dipping my appetizers...mind you I don't drown my food in dressing since I like to actually taste the food.

PRICE: A bit on the high side in my opinion.

So...in summary

The Good: nice rooftop dining, great pizza, beer and pub fare

The Bad: too loud!

The meh: salad, price

Clueless and unprofessional staff.. The staff is unprofessional. We just walked out as soon as we got in. I am surprised at the long wait times.

Disappointed in new location. Let me first say I was a frequent customer at the old LG location. I loved the food, staff, and neighborhood feel. Despite the physical space of the new location being larger and nicer, many of the things that attracted me to LG were left behind at the old location--specifically a friendly staff, great service, and a feeling that you were welcome--and, most importantly, that they appreciated your business.

I've been to the new location a few times already and dealt with long waits for food and seating, rude host staff, and poor service. (I understand that the wait will be long for seating as people check out the new location but don't act like *you're* doing me a favor by letting me eat there.) I hope the new LG will work out whatever kinks are going on with staffing, food prep, and service because LG has been a local favorite.

It's starting to feel like the Cheesecake Factory (lots of hype and waiting for nothing)--just with better beer.

Worst experience ever....for the third time. The "new Lynwood" is terrible. I frequented the old one regularly and enjoyed it. I have visited the new location three times and the third time was the last. I had legitimate complaints and when I spoke to the manager, which I have never done in a restaurant before, he not only didn't seem to care, he actually insulted me. Our waitress was snotty, rude, and stupid. I have been in the service industry for many years. Waiting tables is not hard and rolling of the eyes is not necessary. Our order was wrong, the food was cold, I can go on and on. I know it won't affect their business, but none of my friends are satisfied either and word of mouth is a powerful thing.

Love the New Location!. I have been going to LG for many years now, mainly for the fantastic homemade pizza, great wings, great beer and super-friendly service. Other great food items are the Reuben, pizza rolls and fried pickle chips. I have seen some enormous beautiful salads come out - but usually I can't resist the incredible pub fare.

The old location was a neighborhood favorite, and the new location is no different. I was a little hesitant to brave the crowds in the opening days, but I have been 3 times now with little or no waiting whatsoever. It is larger inside than you think.

The new location (just across the street, at the edge of the Lowe's parking lot) has many improvements but has also successfully maintained much of the charm of the previous location.

New: Rooftop area with it's own bar has kind of a "tiki" look and is relaxed and friendly; outdoor Smoker's Patio downstairs has it's own TV's and is a great solution for both those who do and do not smoke; private room which can accomodate parties up to about 50 people.

Best of the old: The menu, the original pizza oven (did I mention I love the homemade pizza), many of the "unique" decorations, most/all of the bartenders, and of course the owner Ted who often stops just to chat and see how things are going with the customers.

The new Lynnwood is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a great meal at a great price, want to catch up on sports & news on all the TVs, listen to great music or see old friends!

Long wait, terrible customer service by Hostess and manager. Be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes for dinner, even on a Monday night. Not a good idea if you want to catch a movie next door afterwards at the theater because you'll miss it. They don't take reservations or call ahead seating. After waiting 45 min in the heat, I checked with the hostess to see how much longer it would be and she couldn't find us on her list. We ended up sitting in the Smoker's Patio because we didn't want to wait any longer. Complaining to the manager did nothing as all he told us was "as you can see, we're busy". I sent an online complaint and I received an email that stated : " We will never meet your high expectations.... Too hard to listen to an unjustified complaint. Again PLEASE do not come back; you will obviously not be happy and our business will be just fine without your scrutiny. Thanks,

Ted " <---Ted said it all, folks. If you like feeling like you don't matter, this is the place for you. They will not try to make you happy. On a good note, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.
