Don't Eat Here - Bugs in food. Took my wife and kids here and a bug crawled out of the basket with the chips. Told our waiter and he did nothing. The manager came over and said there was no problem (oh yes there is). No apology offered. DON"T EAT HERE!!…

Couldn't get served. I have never had such a bad dining experience in 40 plus years of dining out. My family came to eat Mexican food as we had done here at least one a month for a couple of years, and ended up eating McDonald's from the drive-thru because we couldn't get served. The restaurant was busy due to Cinco de Mayo, but we were seated after only a 10 minute wait.

30 minutes passed without any server even coming by our table, much less asking us for our order. We literally had to flag down the hostess from across the restaurant to let her know that we and three other tables were being ignored. At that point the hostess took our drink and food order, we got our drinks promptly, and another 30 minutes passed. All our orders were standard combinations, nothing special.

We would have been OK and patient if most other customers were in the same situation, but we began to notice several parties that were seated at the same time or after us had been served, eaten, and were now leaving after an hour.

Basically the further you are seated from the kitchen, the more ignored you will be. We and two other families seated along the front wall of the restaurant were completely ignored, yet a women dining alone right next to us (and in unobstructed view of the kitchen) came in 25 minutes after us, and had her meal about the same time we flagged the hostess just to take our order. Even she was done and about to pay by the time we had had enough.

Shockingly poor service, so bad it is unlikely we will ever go back. This business just lost a regular customer, which means they lost us plus the average of nine to ten friends we may relay our story to. Given that at least one group left un-served before us, two others were about to follow our lead, that is a potential loss of forty customers from one bad night.…

If they don't care, why should I?. I've been going here once or twice a month for a couple of years. The food is reasonably good, but nothing exceptional, nor terribly authentic. I've noticed the pattern for a long time that if you order the same menu item in different visits, there's no guarantee you're going to get the same preparation. Apparently whatever cut of meat with whatever sauce is at hand is what you get. Again, it's not that it's terribly bad, it's just there's no consistency. The menu describes what you're supposed to get. Is it really the customer's job to keep reminding them what comes with what? Should you have to point out to the cashier you never got part of your meal? I get that everyone's about cutting costs these days, but do they really think it's OK to pass off a tough sliver of flank steak for "Tender Ribeye" as the menu declares? C'mon! In case they're not getting it, there are LOTS of other Mexican restaurants out there doing a better job. So if they don't care, why should I? I SHOULD CARE BECAUSE I PAY FOR IT. GREAT MEXICAN - WHODA THUNK IT IN ROLESVILLE?. Los Tres Magueyeas is possibly the best Mexican around Raleigh. We usually eat there at least once a month. Staff is friendly and helpful, although a few of the servers are linguistically challenged. Speak a little Spanish to them and watch the smiles light up. The margaritas are wonderful, the chips fresh and crisp. If you like things spicy, be sure to ask for the Salsa Picante to go with the chips. Made with fire-roasted peppers, it will light you up! For a large entree get the Fajitas Tejanas, or a lighter meal can't go wrong with a Sincronizada de Camarron. Huge portions! The place gets a little crowded and noisy from 6:30 to 8:30 most nights, and the service suffers a little as a result. We try to dine early or late as a result - preferably late when fewer kids are around. If you've spent much time in western or central Mexico, I think you'll love the food as much as we do (They even serve Pacifico!) Enjoy!…

Service with just the right touch. This restaurant has undergone some nice changes since its opening year. We can tell that the owners have put money back into the place; updating the side seating areas with sturdy, wooden, decorative high backed booths that allow for more privacy, nicer tables and chairs in the open areas, and colorful touches with the decor on the walls. Some things that have always remained consistent: friendly, prompt and accurate service from the waitstaff, tasty food, and an atmosphere welcoming to families with young children. My husband orders the Burrito Surpreme EVERY time and loves it. I have had success with all the different dishes. Their take out service is great too. You can't lose when you try out this place!…
