Horrible Service, Horrible Receptionist, Avoid this Place!!!

Avoid this place. My husband took our 26 in LCD TV there to be fixed. The horrible female receptionist called us with an estimate and I took a message so my husband could call back. The estimate was extremely high and, after already having paid for the diagnosis, my husband said we didn't want them to fix it and we would pick it up. The woman said "Fine, do whatever the hell you want. But you can't pick it up today, it will take us two days to put it back together". My husband was irrate. When we went to pick it up, the man who brought the TV to the front offered to carry it out to the car because we had out 4 month old infant daughter with us. The woman yelled at the other employee "Don't you dare carry that. He (my husband) wants it back, he can carry it to the car". She even tried to stop the employee from holding the door for my husband.The woman is crazy, the service is aweful, the place is expensive. Personally, I have never experienced such poor service in my life. There is no need to pay to be treated like dirt.

I have never witnessed such poor customer service in all my life. After months of arguing to get my stereo fixed, it never happened. I had a "Sharp" stereo with a faulty receiver. Sharp suggested I take it to All Electronics. From the start, the owner/female that works the front counter, had the worst attitude, and I have no idea why! We were polite at first. Long story short, after about six months they refused to fix my stereo, because I gave them a bad review when a Sharp service representative called me. Awful, stay away!
Honestly, what is the deal with that lady?
P.S. This was a couple years ago, and the stereo will go down as one of the worst purchses of my life. The service received from All Electronics will go down as one of the worst consumer experiences of my life.

Based on the $etter $usiness $ureau report (for some reason this site won't let me write the actual words) and some other reviews here I was pretty wary about using these folks, but now that the service has been performed I can say that I am very satisfied.
I bought a new Toshiba 46" LCD HDTV from Circuit City in late 2008 and after about a week of use I noticed that the audio from the right-side speaker was fuzzy. I called Toshiba to get a list of warranty service places and none were close enough to come to my house right away. All Electronics said that they would put me on a list to do a home visit next time they were in my area. I did not really expect to hear back anytime soon but a couple weeks later they called and made an appointment. The gentlemen that arrived were very nice and explained my options. I decided to let them order the parts and I kept the TV at my house. The parts were on back order but they let me know that I was supposed to authorize parts shipment from Toshiba (could have been more courteous on one phone call but overall phone courtesy was fine). The parts finally arrived and they returned to my house and completed the repair soon after.
I had considered just returning the TV since it was within 30 days of purchase but am glad now that I had the repair done. I think it helped that I was able to keep the TV at my house - video repairs are probably tougher to diagnose and might require taking the TV to the shop.
I would use this shop again, especially given the other options for warranty repairs.

The customer service and expertise is terrible. They will not honor mistakes they have made in fixing your equipment. Stay away from this business.
Not A Bad Experience At All

I was very skeptical about allowing this company to handle the repair of my 37 inch LCD TV after reading the negative reviews here, so much so that I had considered calling the warranty company to advise them of the negative reviews the company had received in attempt to get them to allow me to take my TV elsewhere that was hassle-free and in Durham. I decided not to make that call & go ahead & schedule a service time or pick-up with them.
I called All Electronic Services to have them to come out and service my TV & right from the door I thought there would be a problem because the lady said that the earliest date available would be over a week away, but if I brought it in myself they could check it faster. So I decided that I would make the 20 mile trip to Raleigh for a faster return, I hoped. I prepared myself mentally to be just as "nasty" as I had to be with the lady if it came to that, but I went with a cool head willing to give her a fair chance. I took the TV in expecting to meet this rude/unprofessional lady that many here had dealt with only to meet a professional & friendly lady who checked-in my tv, told me what was most likely wrong with it and said they'd call me in a few days when it was done. To make a long story short I received a call letting me know that my TV was ready 3-4 days later. Pick-up was quick & easy. Staff was helpful and professional in answering questions I had about LCD TVs & service related issues I could expect. Help was offered with loading the TV in my car and all.
I don't know if the warranty companies heard about the negative encounters that others had with this lady & made her straighten her act up or what, but my experience with her/All Electronic Services was a good one. I would recommend this company to anyone & NO I AM NOT RELATED TO ANYONE AT THIS COMPANY NOR AM I MAKING ANYTHING UP.(LOL)

Apprehensive but pleasantly surprised (big screen Toshiba repairs)

I had my Toshiba projection TV repaired here. I really didn't have a choice as the other repair center in Durham was swamped and the next service center is over an hour away. I was hesitant due to the negative reviews here, and the dozen or so complaints registered on the BB Bureau website (which in fairness were all marked resolved or unable to contact reportee).
Anyhow, when I called, I was ready for the worst but was greeted by a pleasant rep who took my info down. It was right around Xmas so things were busy, and she needed to check their schedule. I got a call back in an hour or so. The two men that showed up to get my TV were polite, and I believe at least one of them was actually the technician who did the repairs. They gave me an estimate and were off. They picked up the TV on Friday and brought it back fixed 3 days later on Monday (the day before Xmas). The TV has been working fine, and the final total was in the estimated range.
So despite some apprehension my experience was good, and I would do business with them again. Hopefully, it wasn't just a fluke, and they have turned things. I hope you're experience turns out as well as mine.

HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS?

We could have written any of the above negative reviews. It all started when they were supposed to pick our tv up on a Friday, we had made arrangements for someone to be there, they never came and didn't call. (This was a week after we had originally called.) When we called them, no apologies were given, just "We're busy, we'll pick it up on Tuesday." They picked it up and my husband called three days later and was told they were waiting for a common part. We waited for a week, he called again. The nasty woman who answers the phone, was extremely rude. She said it wasn't ready and they still had the part on back order. When he asked why they hadn't called to tell us it would take awhile, she said, "I don't have to do that!" Then my husband said, "That's poor customer service." She raised her voice and said, "I don't have to take this s--t! We're not going to fix your tv, we'll bring it back!" We then called RCA, who gave us their name in the first place since the tv is still under warranty, and told them what she said. They offered to ship them the part but, never heard from them. I got a call from "Nasty Woman" the next day and she told me to pick up my tv, they were't going to fix it because of my husband's attitude. When I questioned who had the attitude, because she was the one who swore, she said that was a lie, she would never swear! HA! When I asked, "Why would my husband make this up?" She said, "Some people will lie to get what they want!" Then she hung up on me. I reported her to RCA and strongly suggested that they never deal with this company again. They promised me that they are looking into this. My tv was returned, not fixed. Another company picked it up 15 minutes later, and returned it fixed 3 days later. We had been without a tv for almost a month . FYI- according to their delivery man, she is an owner! An Anger Management Group would do her wonders! Don't believe any positive reviews, they had to have written them!

I would never be a patron of this business again. They were deceptive, rude, and unprofessional. They want your money, but they won't treat you well, value you as a customer, or provide the service how they originally tell you they will....
I can't possibly believe any of these positive reviews on this particular business--after my experience, I'm not fooled by how fake they sound.

REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE RECEIVED!

This company picked up my RCA projection television for me. It was under warranty and the only TV I had. They called and told me parts were ordered the same day, and within three days my television was repaired. They also returned it on the same day it was repaired at my convenience. You know, this is so important with our busy schedule these days. Everyone was helpful and friendly and this is very important to me! I will certainly use them again!

And the positive reviews on Citysearch? If the abundant use of exclamation marks rings false with you, trust your instinct. The positive reviews you are reading are more than likely created by the business in an attempt to increase their ratings and offset the bad reviews here. Be careful with this company until they work hard to change their business practices.
