Skip this! The pizza is not bad... the crust is excellent but the sauce is too sweet and the toppings sparse. The thing that KILLS this place is the very poor service and attitude. I must say that I'm from NY and somewhat of a pizza snob. Most New Yorkers are because we know good pizza and a good pizza place when we see it. What KILLS this place is that they just don't care at all. It might have been good once but we when there based on a recent Groupon and I can't see us going back ever. We ordered a large pie and their Mediterranean salad for take out. I opened the salad before leaving to be sure we had the right one and it was just a few bits of lettuce, 3 small bits of red onion, 1 tomato and some small bits of cheese. When I asked "are you sure this is the right salad?", I was quickly answered with "Yup, that's it.". I said several times that this is a poor excuse for a $5.50 salad and to please tell the owner that it's pathetic. The girl and the guy behind the counter clearly did not give a sh_t. If you want real NYC pizza, then I recommend Fuhgeddaboudit Pizza in Cary. We will be returning to this place from now on.

I am down here for school and I really wanted to find a place in NC that remind me of the pizza shops in the Bronx. I am definitely going to visit this place ASAP.

Really great NY food!

All I have to say is that we have been coming her for over a year, and it is the best NY food around. We have tried other places, and nothing compares! If you have not tried Dominic's, you need to! Best food around...

• Pros: Best Pizzeria around- Love the live music in the summer.

I'm almost cried....

Just a regular Friday evening hanging out with my brother, nephew, and daughter. I had to admit - this place is Brooklyn ALL THE WAY. We visited the Raleigh location and the pizza was THE BEST!!

I have to admit that they seem short of staff and if you're not from NY you might think they're rude but there not. Their customer service could use an upgrade but I thoroughly enjoyed my "slice" as did my family.

I'll be headed there this evening and when I get there I'm gonna say "hey gimme a slice" :-)

• Pros: Authentic Brooklyn Pizza - Garlic knots and black and white cookies too!!!
• Cons: Service kinda slow, seemed short staffed

Late deliveries, cold pizza, lost food

The Raleigh location should never even have opened it's doors. Pizza will be cold when it's delivered and you will not get what you ordered. This weekend my family all ate at different times due to the driver having to keep going back to get out food right. The pizza I ordered was all the wrong toppings. My wife's salad was not with our order and the driver went back to his last delivery to retrieve the salad and brought it back to us. YUCK! After 2.5 hours we finally had all of our food and it was right, but cold as a rock. This is not a unique experience, it has happened all the times I have ordered there. I called the owner to try and resolve the situation and I was called a liar when he was confronted with all the information. He believed his delivery driver over his customer . The delivery driver was clearly just trying to cover his butt. My family likes the food there but I will never order there again, and you shouldn't either unless you like cold food, bad service and being called a liar. I was offered my money back for the pizza and was offered no apology. I was told I shouldn't complain, because I got two pizzas out of the deal. GIMME A BREAK!

• Pros: Food is good, if you eat it there and don't care about customer service.
• Cons: Delivery and customer service is lacking in all areas.

Do not eat here

I have been to this restaurant twice now in in both cases had to weight over 20 minutes for a sandwich. Today I ordered an Italian sub to go, weighted 25 minutes and when I got back to my office and unwrapped the sandwich, it was Tuna Fish. They can't seem to handle anything well with the exception of a slice of pizza.

Horrible customer service

This place really needs to learn how to treat customers better. Order here if you wan to wait 1 1/2 hours for your pizza to be delivered. Then call and ask why it late. You won't get any apologies just " we have a lot of deliveries". The Raleigh location really needs an overhaul . I won't order from here again.Think twice before ordering, believe me, you'll regret it.

OVERCHARGED FOR PIZZA AND DELIVERED COLD

I tried to resolve my dispute with dominic's but they handled it unsatisfactory. I live 7 miles away and my pizza was delivered 1 hour 40 minutes from time of my call. I called 6.10 pm on a Saturday, delivered at 7.50 pm. I received several calls from them . The first at delivery time trying to figure out where I lived, the second 20 minutes later still trying to figure out where I lived. (they were still at store) The third at 8.00 wondering if the pizza arrived.

The pizza was cold to touch and I had to reheat. I personally called and email to complain , and they said next time they will do better and maybe I lived too far away. There will be not be a next time.

The bad part was then I checked my visa statement and they had overcharged me by $7. I called to resolve, and they told me to stop by that evening until 8 PM. When I stopped by at 7.15 pm, the manager had already left. I told them I had come to resolve the dispute, they said that they couldn't help, but I insisted they do something so they handed me $6 cash. Oh well. not a good way to handle overcharging a customer.

Hope this helps other customers to chose a better pizza place, or eat at their establishment.

Best NY Pizza

Everyone there is wonderful! Great food, great prices, great atmosphere! You can sit inside and watch the plasma tv or sit outside by the water.
