Best Massage Experience in the Triangle
by dante107
Lisa Barr is the only associate I've had the pleasure of receiving treatment from at Moonshadow, and she's fabulous. She takes time at the beginning of a session to check in with me to see if any new pain has popped up, and works those areas into my normal massage. I have sent a few family members to Moonshadow as well, and each have been seen by a different associate, all with rave reviews. I adore the environment and atmosphere. My only regret is I can't get out there as often as I'd like.
- Pros: Incredibly reliable, affordable, and a wonderful environment
- Cons: None
Best Massage... EVER
by mkappy8
I have chronic back pain and Lisa relieves it for a few weeks at a time. Without my massages, I wouldn't be able to be as active as I am. This place is very welcoming and they really listen to your problems and address each person individually. I highly recommend Lisa at Moonshadow!
- Pros: Friendly, relaxing environment, great hands
- Cons: None
Worth the drive
by needlenutpro
I live in North Raleigh. I will drive to Moonshadow without a doubt every time. Peter is the best.
I have a bad back and my work often leaves me with knots from my neck down to my tush. I am confident Peter can resolve what ever issue I may have. He is gentle yet has the strength to truly exert the pressure needed to relax the muscle.
If it weren't for the economy I'd visit much more often.
MoonShadow is by far the best.
- Pros: professional, thorough, courteous on and on
- Cons: not a one.
Wonderful place for a Massage
by Senseney
I have been going for over 2 years and consider it essential for my body's health and well being. I can count on them to take care of any strains or lower back aches. Their massages were critical to my recovery from a bad fall. You are in good hands with experienced people there.
- Pros: Experts at back problems
the best massage that I've ever gottn
by blrobins
I've been seeing Lisa for about 6 months. My previous therapist had moved out of town, and I didn't think that I would ever find someone to replace her. Well, I did and Moonshadow is a keeper. I have recurrent issues with my shoulders and back, and Lisa helped me to figure out it was misaligned hips. Through some self adjustment excercises on my own, I am walking better than I have in years. I vist once a month, but wish my pocketbook allowed once a day!
- Pros: great therapists, flexible and open schedules
- Cons: none
Knowledgeable Staff Makes It More Than a Massage
by johncarync
I am extremely impressed with the staff. I have had other massages elsewhere and they just kind of do their job. The staff at Moonshadow will sit down with you, discuss your muscles, give you tips on how to properly stretch, and then give you a massage. The stretches have helped my muscles immensely. So it's more than just a massage, it's a place that teaches you how to feel better all the time.
- Pros: Well-trained staff, atmosphere, serenity
- Cons: Wish they'd do it for free :-)
Excellent massage for athletes
by Durham Runner
Lisa offers the best massage that I have ever had. She is an expert at finding tense muscles and gently releasing them. Her work has been essential to my marathon training!
- Pros: Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable
- Cons: None
Great for back pain
by envpolicyguy
I had severe back pain resulting from the muscles in my lower back seizing up. I was getting ready to go out of town with my family, and needed to resolve this issue. It worked great. I recommend them.
- Pros: great for back pain, laid back, professional
- Cons: n/a
Convenient and Feeling Great
by sfm27560
I love how I walk away feeling 100% better than I did when I walked in. I love my girl Sami!
For me, it's a very convenient location not only from home but to other places of business I frequent. Even if I didn't live so close, I would definitely make the longer drive just to get my massage.
I have shoulder/nerve issues and I get migraines. Sami really helps relieve my discomfort and pain for a good amount of time.
My husband also returns home feeling refreshed and relaxed. He loves it there, too!
- Pros: Location, Staff, Results, Price
- Cons: I'm not able to go everyday!
Great staff!
by Hotman
I'm a huge fan of Moonshadow Massage. I've gotten three types of massages (regular, hot stone, and pregnancy) and can highly recommend them all.
Peter is wonderful and my husband likes Sami.
I drive 40+ minutes just to go to Moonshadow!
- Pros: Great staff, good price
