It is awesome to find a good Pizza place in Raleigh. Former NY'r here who loves this place.

Mellow is ok but over priced, while I love, gives you good pizza, priced well!

They should check their attitudes though, sometimes I think they are trying to go for the authentic feel....

  • Pros: Really tastes like NY pizza, prices, variety
  • Cons: parking, staff attitude

Really, it wasn't worth going over there. It looks like the real deal but isn't. Not sure if it was just an off night considering the reviews it has received. If you are looking for NY pizza Assiagio's is much better. Take it from a New Yorker. I haven't tried many NY style pizza places in Raleigh, but am continuing to search.

  • Pros: across from a college campus if you attend the school
  • Cons: the pizza

Food here is alright I guess, it's just what you're used to everywhere else. Can't really knock them for anything but it's the same thing you get at all the other "NY style" knock off places around the country.

  • Cons: Parking can be painful

First of all, the name says it all NEW YORK pizza. That means it will be thin crust (dough made fresh daily hand flown) and little to no tomato sauce. I would rather not eat pizza than eat bad pizza, this is GREAT pizza!

  • Pros: great pizza
  • Cons: "clinical" ambiance

I LOVE THIS PIZZA!!! My niece attends Peace College and she kept raving about it. I finally drove the 30 minutes to get there and it was absolutely fantastic. Authentic NY pizza! I took my husband there two days later. We are hooked. If you are looking for REAL NY pizza, this is your place. We are from Philly and if only I could find an authentic cheesesteak locally.

  • Pros: outstanding pizza
  • Cons: college crowd - felt kinda out of place but pizza worth it!!

I have been to hundreds of pizzerias in NY, CA, MA, and NC. This is among the best pizza I have eaten in all of north carolina. It is truly authentic new york style pizza and it is delicious. Highly recommended!

generally the prices here are higher than its counterparts elsewhere, but the taste of pizzas are ok. still, one or two tries you'd feel it ok, but more, you wouldn't.

Horrible pizza. I ordered an XL to go, got it home, it had no pizza sauce on it, so I fed the "cheese bread" to my dogs, and gave the rest to my friend to feed to her dogs. I called the store immediately, was told the manager wasn't there, would be back in 30 minutes and they'd have him return my call. Long story short..I received a bad pizza, and after that, the worst customer service on the planet.

I would NEVER recommend this place for any occasion. It was horrible in every way.

  • Pros: none, none, none
  • Cons: pizza is bad, horrible customer svc, bad karma

I love NY Pizza is one of the best southern pizza places that we've tasted so far! It's terribly difficult to reproduce the TRUE NY Style pizzas, but they do a fantastic job! (and this coming from NY Metro area natives who are pretty darned picky about Pizza!)

The prices are reasonable for a HUMONGOUS pizza that tastes delicious. The spices were a bit too much for younglings, but for adults, it was just perfect!

There is a self-serve drink area, and a fast-food type atmosphere that is larger for a decent amount of people to sit in there. They could use more seating, but it was nice to have extra room to walk around tables.

Service was with a smile, and very kind-- pizza arrived SUPER FAST and was made to perfection

PROS: excellent pizza for a great price-- convenient location

CONS: Could have a homier atmosphere for a more enjoyable time
