A true artisan

I have been buying jewelry from Kerry for over 10 years. She has a fantastic eye for buying raw materials and synching them with what is happening in fashion. She is totally open to collaborating with you/me on pieces in store and customizing them to your/my needs. She is creative and reliable--it is the reason that I keep going back. Plus there is always something new to see and buy.

In today's cookie cutter jewelry world, it is great to buy something that you know you won't see on 5 other people and her jewelry always increases in value over time due to her great buying eye.

Living in NJ and working in NY, I can say that NC is lucky to have such a great artisan.

A Dishonest Transaction

Kerry Catherine has beautiful, unique handmade jewelry and is in a prime location. However, I am very unhappy with the service I received when Kerry created a custom piece out of an old engagement ring. I was told specifically that they would not and do not as a rule use the original gold, only the stone. It was explained that new gold would bought and the price was calculated on this premise. The final piece is gorgeous; my 1 carat diamond is now a pendant. However, when asking for the return of the ring and setting, I was told it could not be returned and it was in fact used to create the pendant. The price of my final piece was not altered. I asked, perhaps I may have a discount on my next purchase. The representative told me he must consult with Kerry and would get back to me, which, he never did. I do not feel that I was a valued customer. It was a dishonest transaction.
