Serena has a gift in her hands for hair . Too bad i find her before i move out of the Raleigh area . I went to her salon 3 times and my hairs look now much healthier .

I highly recommend her keratin treatment and the New York dry cut and highlights . Her technique is very professional and she is very friendly .

Was looking for a stylist who knew how to cut hair and I must say Serena has never disappointed me. She listens and produces the results. Clay is also an excellent stylist. He goes the extra mile and does an excellent job. If you are looking for a salon which has good vibes, laid back and you can tell they love what they do and are good at it, look no further. PS: Very few stylists can cut dry hair with the precision that Serena does. I like knowing what length my hair will be when I say "cut"!

I absolutely love Beauty Lounge! I followed my hairdresser there right when the shop was opening a few years ago, and though my hairdresser no longer cuts hair, I stayed with the shop. I drive over forty-five minutes just to get there because Serena is so helpful and friendly, and I've received amazing service with my cuts, nails, and treatments. Serena truly puts everything she has into that shop, and you can feel her heart there! I highly recommend the shop to anyone!

I booked my appointment via online portal. a fantastic feature compared to other salons. this was an important feature for me- anyone who has ever spent time on hold while a receptionist checks availability knows what i mean!

I first met Serena through a living social deal- and couldnt be happier that i took a chance on the Beauty Lounge. Serena is educated, talented and compasionate. she truly styles from the heart. The consultation was a wonderful experience. i came in the salon with an idea and Serena exceeded expectations. Her dry cut technique and ombre coloring has resulted in many compliments from friends and family. i find myself bringing up Serena and the Beauty Lounge in most conversations. everyone needs to treat themselves to an appointment at the Beauty Lounge of Five Points!

Went there recently using a Living Social deal. I could not have been happier with my Shellac manicure by Ian. Ian did a fabulous job and gave me some spectacular nails. I told him that I liked glitter and bright colors, my nails were spot on. I have received compliments every single day about how cool they are. It has been over two weeks and they still look great. I would not hesitate to go there again, actually I can't wait!

About a year ago, I decided to let my hair grow. My current stylist was great when my hair was short, but as it grew, she was unable to give me a cut that took advantage of my natural curl. My sister, convinced me to drive from Gboro for an appt w Serena. I'm so glad she did. I love my hair, & get lots of compliments, especially from men. Never thought that in my 50's my hair would work with any length on it but Serena did it for me. And yes, she is great w my color too. TY Serena!

Serena is the only stylist that I will use. She miraculously found a style that works with my wavy hair and always remembers my individual issues whenever I come in. She clearly knows what she is doing. Also, the pedicure I got at Beauty Lounge was better quality than the twice as expensive pedicure at the Umstead Hotel Spa. Beauty Lounge is a lovely neighborhood salon with lovely people!

I am absolutely thrilled to have found this little gem! Serena and Ian are both fabulous, and the experience is always positive. Ian takes his work seriously and is a true artist. I recommend Beauty Lounge to anyone looking for personalized service and attention to detail!

Love love love Serena! I have curly hair and was told I could never wear it long. My first visit to Serena was magic. The woman knows her hair. I suppose other stylists just weren't talented enough to work with my hair. I now have long, manageable and beautiful curly locks which she keeps looking fab using her dry cutting technique. She is also great with color and knows what will look good with your skin tone. My advise? Pay her a visit and just do what she recommends. You will not go wrong.
