Comfy Atmosphere good for drinks and chats. I live in the Raleigh area and have for a few months now and been exploring the local bars. I've hit the regular pubs for a drink or two but I was looking for something different. I read the review by Greg Coxx about Flights Restaurant and Lounge. I decided I needed to give it a try. Had dinner a couple times in the restaurant and got excellent service. I decided to give the bar a try one night and spent half the night talking away with other locals, guest at the hotel and the bartender DJ. Went back a couple days later and got to meet the other bartenders. The service was great in both areas and all the bartenders were skilled in keeping a good conversation with their guest.

Plan to keep checking it out from time to time for the delicious food and great talks.

HORRIBLE bar service!. Went to the hotel bar for an after dinner drink.... ordered a decaf coffee and a regular with Kahlua. Both coffees were cold! Barely could taste any kahlua in it. When we asked the bar tender (a young woman of latin descent) she acted as though we were asking for the moon! She had a horrible attitude and no apology and then we were charged $12 for the drink! Ridiculous! Never again! and I live down the road.....
