Dishonest business. They were going to sell a piano on my behalf, and everything seemed fine. When I finally checked back in after hearing nothing for over a year, I found out that the piano had sold, but I didn't receive any payment or notification whatsoever. Now for over a year I've been fighting for the company to uphold its contract. Do not do business with this company.
I just called on a sunday morning for some advice. The owner, Bob Kimbal, was SOO helpful on the phone. He gave me lots of good advice and recommended other stores where I could purchase the parts that I needed. He also recommended a place I could take my electronic piano keyboard to be fixed. If I need a new one or I need a piano tuner I will definitely call him. Based on this very helpful conversation I highly recommend The Piano Shoppe of Cary.
Beware!They don't do honest business!.
The owner Bob sold crappy piano as completely restored one, several keys even had missed strings, pedal was broken too! He'll tell you tuning is free for the first year. It's not easy to get him over to tune, and he did so very quickly and it's still didn't sound right at all. I asked him why so and he replied it sounded great, it's a good piano. I couldn't stand the off-sound of it and finally had someone honest to fix the problems for the second time, as there were so many problems he couldn't finish in one visit.
He wasn't surprised when he found out where I got the piano from. So beware, not to shop there! Don't spend a lot of money and much more just to fix what was supposed to be a great piano!
