I had a root canal 2 weeks ago at Dr. Behrend's office. I am totally satisfied with the care I received and Dr. Behrend is very thorough, informative, and did not hurt me at all! He also has a great sense of humor and made me feel right at ease! I would recommend him to anyone who needs root canal treatment!

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Behrend. I recently had an appointment with Dr. Behrend to complete a root canal. I felt pain during the procedure and raised my hand to notify him, as the assistant (Renate) had told me to. He just continued to work until I finally gasped and began to sob. Then he stopped abruptly, and told the assistant the procedure was over. He may have been frustrated with the tooth, but it certainly felt like he was taking it out on me.

I had a great experience at Dr. Behrend's office. I had virtually zero pain. This has not been the case with other dentists. Dr. Behrend is the man! Kim and Donna are very kind as well!

Dentist is a total jerk. I went to this dentist for the first time today expecting it to be a pleasant experience. I pulled up at 745am (way before the office opened) and was trying to call my friend to see if I was in the right place. While waiting for a call back from my friend this car pulls up and this man is cursing at me through his window. ...I can read lips...he then jerks his car over to the space two spots over from me. He proceeds to say things and I had my window up so I rolled it down and asked him if there was a problem. He proceeded to yell at me saying I was taking up two "freaking" spaces and I needed to move IMMEDIATELY and that he owned this building and I was taking up his spot. I said I am sorry I didn’t know that there were assigned parking. Not being smart but I thought he meant that I was in HIS spot. He proceeded to yell at me telling me to move my car NOW and that HE was the owner. I told him again I didn’t know that this was assigned spots and that I would move. He told me that there isn’t assigned spots that I was taking up TWO spots. I told him I wasn’t parked to stay I was trying to see if I was in the right location. He slammed the door of his car, slammed his brief case down and walked into the building cursing at me the whole time. I looked down at where I was parked and it was right on the line between two spots. I moved my car over and decided that since I was paying them MY money that I would see if this was someone from another office. I went in – when he had entered the building he went left and my suite was on the right. I thought...that is good he is in a different office. Low and behold....what did I see? The woman that had gotten out of the car with him sitting at reception! I asked her if the man that went into that other office across the hall was associated with this office and she said yes he was the dentist. I told her that I refuse to pay my hard earned money to someone that treats people that way. She said that is fine get out. I was shocked. All he had to say is “Excuse me but could you move your car into just one spot so my other patients can also park?” I would have gladly have moved and apologized. This is a total butthead of a man and sorry office staff. Don’t go there….not worth the time or trouble.

Most professional experience. I've been having root canals for years. This by far was the easiest and most professional one I've experience, without a doubt. Dr. Gary Behrend is very courteous and friendly.

Stay Away From This Violent Man!. The dentist grabbed my husband, threw him against the wall, and threatened to break his neck! This guy is a total maniac! If you value your life, I beg you to stay away! I went in for a root canal and he was extremely harsh and rude. I've had several root canals before and he was causing me much more pain than any other dentist I've visited. While working on me, he kept hitting nerves which made me jerk. I tried to just push through it, but he was being so rude and painful I started to cry. Then he lost his temper and told me that he wasn't going to finish the procedure and left the room. I apologized and asked him to finish if he could just be a little more gentle. Instead he was irate and started working violently with my mouth. I continued to cry and he just stormed in and out of the room yelling. The assistant was too terrified to move and the guy completely lost his temper. Finally I just asked if I could leave before he completely went berserk. I told my husband what happened and he went in to ask the doctor for an explanation. Unprovoked, the dentist grabbed my husband, threw him against the wall, and threatened to break his neck! This guy is a total maniac! If you value your life, I beg you to stay away!

Quick Work & Compassionate Staff. I was in excruciating pain with a tooth needing root canal. My referral to Dr. Behrend had been delayed, due to the refusal of my general dentist's office staff to make a short appointment for me on their half day. Several days later, when finally I got my referral to Dr. Behrend, I was desperate.

In contrast to my experience with my general dentist's staff, Dr. Behrend's staff went out of her way to give me the first cancellation appointment possible. By the time I showed up to the office, I felt like we were friends.

Upon examination, Dr. Behrend immediately began working on my tooth. I've heard a lot of horror stories about root canal. However, my experience was that it was no worse than getting a regular filling. I was done in less than an hour and the relief was immediate. My post-procedure soreness was very minimal.

I highly recommend Dr. Behrend, even for those that are afraid of going to the dentist.

Very professional, did a wonderful job, no pain.. With Dr. Behrend, my root canal was no problem. Did not hurt at all. I have had other root canals, they were not fun. Here, everything went smoothly. If I had to have a root canal again, I would absolutely go Dr. Behrend.

Dr. Recommended. Very easy to get a quick appointment. The doctor was proffessional, polite and caring. I am very satisfied with work performed. I would recommend Dr. Behrend.

kind-hearted, highly recommended. This office was so very accommodating. Despite what my (former) primary dentist thought (Dr James Whitely - don't go there), I was destine for a root canal. Dr Behrend's office was able to help me immediately. The receptionist was very kind and couldn't have been more helpful. Dr Behrend was direct and to the point. I wasn't there to socialize and neither was he. He assessed the damage and was direct in what needed to be done to resolve my pain. He was NOT cold or uncaring. He just wasn't going to waste my time or his. I, personally, was appreciative of this. He answered my questions and provided excellent care.

If an oral surgeon is what you need, I highly recommend contacting Dr Behrend.
