Tips for Corner Tavern & Grill

Nice local place.
I can't believe that I'm the first person to write a review of this place. Located in the corner of the shopping center, you might not notice it if you aren't aware of all of the Italian restaurants that have been there before and failed. That's really the only negative of this place now - the owner kept the booths left over from the previous tenant, and although they are expensive and comfortable, the decor is too formal for the casual menu.
That said, the menu has typical pub food, but prepared with a twist. The fish & chips is not your typical fish fillet, but rather a huge portion of fried fish. The french dip is prepared from freshly sliced meat, not from a "Steak-ums" package. The shepard's pie is made from tenderloin, not hamburger. They have sweet potato fries. Everything I've had, be it fish, grilled chicken, etc. were all perfectly cooked. And they have a nice selection of beers and good service. Five stars? Darn right!
