Sushi O turned me on to Sushi.
I scoffed at sushi before I hit Sushi O about 6 months ago. I thought people were crazy to scoff raw fish etc..I had tried the Thai dishes there, the outstanding Pho,and decided to stay on course with my selections which were usually satisfying and I enjoyed the atmosphere there. It's a young hipster place but as a Boomer do not feel out of place. Then one of the servers convinced me to try one of the popular rolls and I was initially hooked just on that roll and since then have tried most. Delicious! Plus the Thai dishes are healthy portions and gotta love BOGO every night. Now I crave the place! Service usually terrific and personality plus with some of the staff. I spent some time in Viet Nam so i feel I am qualified to comment on the Pho and Thai dishes.

I should have looked at Citysearch First.
The last reviewer was spot on, doesn't sound like it has changed much. We went with a group of seven all ordering different things. This place should simply drop the sushi portion of their menu. It was all virtually flavorless, then drenched in sauces. The Thai portion of the menu was very good and the portions were larger than any other local Thai restaurants. The service was an example of taking advantage auto gratuity, slow unresponsive and lacking attentiveness. To many other places that strive harder to earn your business for us to revisit here.

Okay if unoriginal food; poor customer service.
We've tried this place several times now. The sushi is reasonably fresh and well-prepared. The specialty rolls are way over-the-top, most of them heaped with too many ingredients (spicy mayo on almost everything, and one roll has melted cheese on it, eww). There is a large entree menu as well, with pretty good Thai food.
Service is sometimes slow and inattentive, depending on which server you get. Bar service seems particularly slow.
There is a half-price sushi "happy hour" from 5:00 to 6:30 every weekday. But make sure you order exactly the amount you want to eat when you first get there, because (a) if you order additional sushi after 6:30 it's no longer half-price, and (b) the manager has a bizarre policy of not allowing you to box up leftovers if you purchased them half-price. Our server was apologetic and encouraged us to sneak out leftovers out when the manager wasn't looking.
In all, we were excited about this place when it first opened, but if they don't treat customers better, this restaurant is sure to fail.

good and bad.
Food seems to be on above average scale but service has to improve. Sushi seems to be fresh ( meaning the fish) but creativity is not there and service seems to forget that we are the customers.
