Bad service- Mediocre Food. Went for the first time 3/31/11. Won't be back. Five minutes went by before we were greeted or given a menu. Once we ordered it was 25 minutes before our food was served. Except "there was a new guy in the kitchen" who read our order for TWO oyster platters as ONE. Meaning we had to wait for the the other platter. They apologized and gave a 10 % discount. Food was mediocre at best. Better to get GOOD service and seafood at Capt. Stanley's or Mayflower.

Great Food and Fun Atmosphere. This is a great place in Garner at White Oak. My favorite is Shack Shack Shrimp and as I eat my way down the menu, everything has been very good. The owner comes to your table to shuck oysters and meet you. Food is cooked to order and served as quickly as possible. The beverages are cold and many different bar specials are offered weekly. Come and sit out on the patio and play cornhole with the locals and even try to beat the 'house' team, if they have time to play. Everything about this place is comfortable, fresh and inviting.
