Up-sell City. My teenage daughter had her oil changed there recently. I was in a meeting so she couldn't reach me to ask me what to do because she was informed she NEEDED a cabin filter for her Scion. Funny, the car didn't come with one when we purchased it, brand new. There are some rails under the glovebox where one goes and it just slides in, but there was never one there. So she was charged $60 for a filter that AutoZone sells for $12 and the Scion dealership charges $22 for. When I called Jiffy Lube to complain they said there was labor invovlved and that Jiffy Lube set the prices. So in essence I was charged $48 for someone to lean over and slide this filter in it's slot, under the glovebox. Uhmmm, by-bye Jiffy Lube.You won't be working on this family's four cars ever again.
