Pretty good experience. I have been to a lot of spas, very high end ones in South Florida and Europe, so my expectations are pretty high. Overall the experience was great. I got the Milk and Honey Body Treatment and the results were wonderful. My esthetician was great and so professional. I felt totally comfortable wearing nothing but a plastic thong and towel. The products were high quality and the esthetician did a very good job.

The waiting area is very nice and relaxing, with fresh fruit, water, and tea. You are not rushed out the door here. The steam room and showers are very nice and clean. Toilet items are provided, but are nothing special.

My service did not start on time, but it ended on time. They didn't come get me from the waiting room until several minutes after my appointment time and the first few minutes was consult time, so I think I got shorted on time just a bit. Like most spas in the area they try to up sell you on products, but are not pushy. Their stuff is actually pretty reasonable in price, but I just don't have need for anymore.

Bad beyond my imagination!. This spa is not even nice, I have been there a couple of times when I desperately needed a service. The past time I was there they charged my credit card for services they did not provide and will not return my call about it. STAY AWAY, there are too many nice facilities in Raleigh to waste your time here!

Don't waste your money here. I've been to a lot of spas before, and this was the worst experience I've ever had. The place was dirty, thestaff was rude, my services did not start on time and I did not get the full time that I payed for. I don't think I should pay for my therapists to laugh outside the room or spend 10 minutes talking to me before I get my service..

Don't Waste Your Time. At the Brier Creek location, I have to say that the some of the front desk team are some of the most unprofessional, unaffected people I've had to deal with. I booked an appoinment for my mother's birthday to get the facial of her choice.I made sure to let my mother know to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of her service. My mother arrives early, introduces herself to the manager, who checks her in. After my mom has been sitting in the lounge for 45 MINUTES, the manager CALLS her on the phone while she's sitting in the lounge asking her if she was coming in for her service! After sitting there for an hour, my mom gets up and leaves. I call the location and asked Laura (spa director) what happend with my mom and the only explanation she could give me was "We made a mistake" and then asked me if my mom would like to reschedule, not offering her any type of compensation for her lost time or an incentive to want to come back. This is riduculous. They want to preach top-notch customer service and fail to deliver every time.

Best spa in Raleigh, hands down.. Best spa in Raleigh, hands down. I've had massages and facials here, and the therapists are very knowledgeable as well as relaxing. This is the BEST massage I've had, including those I've experienced in New York and L.A. Definitely must experience to see for yourself!

Pretty Great. I just got back from my first experience at Skin Sense (Brier Creek location), and I am very impressed. Aside from a couple of snobby receptionists -- one who literally checked me over head to toe as she led me to the waiting room (to see if my shoes were good enough maybe?) -- I have no complaints. I went in for a wax and was offered full use of the amenities. The waiting room was relaxing with cushy chairs, fountains and dim lights. My esthetician was great -- very warm and friendly, and she knew what she was doing. I will definately be going back to try their other services and will recommend Skin Sense to friends!

What a wonderful way to relax!. I received a gift certificate to Skin Sense for a massage - something I wouldn't normally treat myself to. After putting it off for months, I finally went. Should have gone sooner! What a wonderful, relaxing and pampering experience! We spent time in the steam room before and after the massage. I had a wonderful massage with Chelsea, who worked the kinks out of my sore upper back and neck. She was very patient with me (I had no idea what to expect from a full body massage), and I wished the massage would go on for hours! Loved the spa products that are free and available in the changing rooms so much, I bought a few to take home. Nice atmosphere - upscale, but not pretentious. My recommendation: treat yourself! It's SO worth it!

A Great Spa Getaway. I have been to several spa locations in Raleigh and have never experienced such a wonderful service as I did at Skin Sense. I received a gift card from a friend to Skin Sense and didn't know what to expect. I could not believe how calming and comfortable the spa was. The locker room was wonderful with all the amenities one could need. I was immediately relaxed while sitting in the quite room before and after the message. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience. I'll be back!!! I've convinced my mother to come with me next time she is in town.

Skin sense. I have had Carrie at Skin Sense at BC for about a year now and she has moved to Cary and I wouldnt see anyone else . Carrie is Wonderful, she is the best at waxing I have ever had.

Very relaxing, and top notch. I visited the Brier creek location and loved it!! Carrie is the best waxer I've ever had. She was very thorough, and quick. She didn't even have to go back and tweeze anything. Carrie was sweet and made me comfortable. The facility was clean and very upscale, but prices are comparable to what You would find elsewhere. I highly recommend skin sense and Carrie!!
