For Your Eyes Only

Excellent!. I've never "reviewed" any business, but I signed up for a Citysearch account to give a much-deserved thumbs up to For Your Eyes Only. My elderly father lives in a senior center nearby, and had a problem with his eyeglasses. One of the small plastic filaments that holds the lens in place had broken. Given that he has dementia, this was confusing and very worrying to him.

It turns out that fortunately, FYEO is open for half a day on Saturday, so I took his glasses there. FYEO disassembled the glasses, and asked if it would be ok to put the frame through the ultrasonic cleaner. I agreed, figuring that would be an extra few dollars. When they were finished, the frame was clean, and both filaments had been replaced.

When I asked how much I owed them, they answered, "Oh, there's no cost". I protested and asked if I could at least give them say, five dollars; they refused.

Dad was s-o-o-o happy to have his glasses back, and I'm similarly happy to have found such an excellent store. I wear glasses myself, and For Your Eyes Only has earned a new customer for life.…

BEST PLACE TO GO. I am a very picky person, and it takes me a long time to decide on eyeglass frames. Rick was incredibly patient at helping me pick them out, had a great eye about what looked best on my face, and the selection was excellent. Jennifer was also amazing - she gave opinions when asked, and was very knowledgeable. I later had an issue with a prescription from another eye doctor, and they were totally accommodating with the changes needed. I can't say enough good things about the staff, level of service, and quality of this store. I would not go anywhere else!!!…

If you live in Raleigh, it's For Your Eyes Only. An excellent staff. Jennifer and Rick were patient and very helpful in choosing and aquiring the latest Silhouette frame, which i happen to like and were not in the store yet. They scouted the internet with me for images and information; i feel great about my purchase and am excited. Thank you!…

World Class Service. After going through many other optometrists offices, strip mall glasses places, etc. I can say without any hesitation that this is THE best glasses place anywhere. The staff? Friendly, professional, and they go out of their way to assist you; and, trust me, after going to MANY other optometrists, this is not the norm for sure.

The atmosphere? Awesome! The office is decorated to match the seasons, can't beat that! It's well lit, sunny, and full of good energy.

The finale? To top it all off, I get a hand written card after my visit thanking ME for my patronage! Let me ask you this, in this day and age, how many businesses have you been to that do that?? Exactly.

I can't praise this business enough. I'm telling you now, I've been to so many other places that treat you like herded cattle, that not only is FYO a breath of fresh air, they leave the competition behind!

I will be going to them from now on, and I don't care if my insurance is out of network or anything else, the hassle I get at the other places makes it worth going to FYO.
