Raleigh >Rudino's Roof Top
Mediocre food and service. Food wasn't anything special--though the person I was eating with got a grinder and said it was great. Waitresses were slow/unenthusiastic; I think she came to our table twice--once to bring drinks and once to get our order. Good beer specials/nice bartender. Afterwork crowd--old guys inside; sausage fest of 20 year olds outside. I wouldn't rave about this place, but the rooftop bar was very nice!
Horrible service, mediocre food. My girlfriend and I have been going here for about a year off and on since moving to this side of town, and I can say I'm not impressed. I've tried the grinders, I've tried the pizza-and to deal with moody, ignorant waitresses I rather go to Lilly's or Milton's across the road. Our service was so bad last time we had to call a manager. Our waitress was rude when she first approached us saying, "I thought you wanted pizza" with an attitude because I changed my mind and wanted a grinder. She ignored our table the entire time until we had finished our meal, then decided to come over and give my girlfriend a refill ( not even remembering what her drink was). Yes the specialty pizzas are alright on a good day, but to deal with their staff is not worth it, skip Rudino's.
Skip it in the winter...only on a nice spring or summer day is this place worth a visit..
The pizza isn't that good. The person who wrote they have the best pizza probably works there.....There's also no sign of women unless it's a nice summer evening. In the winter, it's like a morgue. There's more people over the age of 40 at the rooftop bar than any other bar in Raleigh---not many 20-somethings hang out there. The staff isn't friendly at all....some of the waitress complain too much.
Bottom line-- skip it in the winter but it's a great place on a nice spring, summer evening.
Best sports bar in Raleigh. It is non smoking inside and smoking is allowed on the rooftop.. Best Pizza in NC. They have upgraded the TV's outside so now you can actualy see the games even during sunny day light hours. The outside rooftop is awsome. Plenty of hot girls are usually present in abundance on most evenings. This is a great after work bar. It is now non-smoking inside but they still allow you to smoke at the outside bar and any tables out on the rooftop. Live music every Sun and Wed night out on the rooftop starting at 7pm. Tain Collins plays a lot and he is a must not miss act. They have the baseball package, NFL, NHL, Big Ten, MASN, college basketball package etc...... Oh yeh.... make sure you get the Royale Pizza.... its the best!!
Love the Rooftop!. This bar is best in the Spring and Summer when the outside is open. There are tables with umbrellas and tables without. It gets very crowded-- so get there early for a seat. There are TV's inside and outside tuned into different sporting events. There is a dart board outside. The food is very tasty. The drinks are reasonably priced. Sammy the bartender is HOT! I dig it- it's the only roof top bar in town.
The best sports bar in town. Rudinos is the best sports bar around. It has good drink specials, it's quaint and has enough tvs to get the job done. I always have a good time there. They have a jukebox and dart boards if there is not a game on and the food is great. The wait staff and bar tenders are great also.
Great Pizza and Cool Scene. Go here for great pizza on a good weather day. Be it Fall or Spring, enjoy a hearty Pepperoni (My Favorite) Pizza on Rudino's Roof Top- Literally. You walk up a large flight of stairs and off of the main dining area is the rooftop seating, great view and an outside bar. They have live music several times per month too.
