Raleigh >Food & Dining > Brigs Great Beginnings
Best breakfest. Just the best a place for perfect weekend morning, their waffles, coffee and I am happy. Very clean and service is very good...Get there early on weekends.
Filling. Brigs, is by far the best breakfast restaurant in town! There pancakes make IHop pancakes look like, Fisher Price my first pancakes! There is no comparison.
Brigs. Brigs Is Great Love the people.
Great, Great, Great!. I felt very compelled to write this comment since I almost did not try this Brigs out (due to the person who has repeatedly written negative comments). Honestly, if you are looking for a great meal and want to a large menu to choose from Brigs is a fantastic choice!! My brother just took me out to brunch for my birthday, we had a great time and we were both very happy with our meal and the service (I must say as a self proclaimed foodie I am not the easiest to please).
Great food and service. The huge menu, the fact you can get breakfast all day, and the great tasting food and portions. Lots of choices for side dishes also.
Nice experience. Homey feel and a varied menu. Not your typical breakfast. The service was great and the coffee was amazing
yum!. wow this was the best breakfast ever! i had the strawberry pancakes with whip cream on top... SO good! the waitress was really sweet and everybody was so friendly! but the food was definatly the best part. i will be back this weekend!
Favorite Restarant in Raleigh. We have been going to Brig's for years, and have enjoyed it every time. The portions are huge, but I somehow always manage to clean my plate. The waitstaff is very friendly and personal, and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. We will definitely be dining here for years to come.
Great breakfast, friendly waitress and manager and great service. We weren't sure what to expect when we went here, but we were so pleasantly surprised. Having moved from New England where great breakfast places abounded, we were disappointed that there didn't seem to be any good breakfast places here. The kids' portions are huge, especially for the cheap price! Their blueberry pancakes were fantastic and I don't even like pancakes! My husband had French toast, i had corned beef hash with sunny side up eggs. This is the only good breakfast place we've found in a year of searching so far!! They were out of coloring books since they'd had so many kids in, but the manager apologized profusely about it in person. He turned up the heat when I was chilly. He asked several times how we were doing. The waitress was young, friendly, attractive and provided great service as well. We were very pleased and will definitely go back, even though it's pretty far from our house!
One woman + many screen names = a lot of lies.
SInce last October, one woman has written 15 different one star reviews criticizing the staff at Brigs Great Beginnings. She has used 15 different names, like "satdownachair" and "sapatree", but she's just one woman. Her subject titles are all similar, her grammar and syntax are all the same, and up until now, each screen name she's used only posted one review EVER and it was about the staff at Brigs.
We know who she is. Yes, we know who she is. What we don't know is why she would intentionally hurt people by writing lies about them. She eats with us frequently and likes some of the staff a lot. Then, behind a veil of internet anonymity, she publishes "reviews" telling readers the names, hair style, home states and more about our staff, and tells horrible lies about how rude and mean they were to her. We know who she is and we have never been rude or mean to her.
These employees work hard to make every customer happy. Yes, they are just as human as every person who reads this post. They do make mistakes. They do have bad days. And, they have deserved some of the bad reviews that they have received among they many good ones they've gotten. They do not deserve to be insulted and humiliated by lies. They have families, friends, and loved ones who also are emarrassed that internet readers like yourself have seen these lies.
Until CitySearch verifies email addresses before allowing posting, every review, good or bad, must be taken with a grain of salt. We have been nice enough not to put this woman's real name in this post. We hope that she will return the favor and stop posting mean and undeserved reviews about the nice people who we are proud to have as employees.
