I eat Chinese food a lot from different restaurants and have found 888 to be one of best take out. I ordered chicken lo mein which had great quality chicken with great taste.

All I can say is rude!!! The food is okay, actually great a few times, but the person who answers the telephone tries to get you off of the phone as soon as she can. The other night I told her I wanted to order for delivery and she took my order brusquely. I had not begun the next item, and she said "OK- 30-40 minutes," "Wait! I have more," I said. She took that order again in a very unpleasant manner and proceeded to get me off the phone. I said "Do you know where I live?" She said, "OK, Where" I told her the address and she said "OK... be there in 30-40 minutes." Click. I had to call back because she gave me no opportunity to provide payment information.

Food is great and lunch is a fair price for such delicious food. Cannot be compared with other chinese restaurants in town.

Just plain awful.... Poor quality meat- looks like skin and fat with a slimy chewy taste. Garlic sauce was something like molasses. Chefs look unwashed and the place is dirty. Looks like a slop shop but all would be forgiven if the food was palatable. Could not stomach my chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce. Seems like they don't give a damn... might be the worst Chinese take out I've ever gotten.

Raleigh worst Chinese Restruant. This is by far the worst chinese food I've ever eaten. The fried rice was mussy and extremely over cooked. The wings were hard and greasy.

It took nearly an hour for delivery.

Save your time and money, go else where, or any where else but here.

Food sucks, and RUDE!!!!!. Food sucks, and the lady and the male are RUDE! They act like they are upset to have customers. Very rude, NO SENSE of customer service.

888. Honestly, I had not ordered from 888 in at least a year, perhaps longer. I normally order from China Court.

However, I just ordered from 888, and the man with whom I spoke on the phone was very polite -- exactly what I would expect from any person taking delivery orders. Perhaps I just called at the right time, or perhaps others have simply called at the wrong time. Or, perhaps, their service has improved since some of the previous reviewers ordered their food.

awful food, awful service...disappointed. we have been ordering from 888 for over a year now. we could tell the decline of food and service in the past couple months. this last time was too much, we got the wrong food on a delivery. then after the lady arguing with us on the phone, she sent the delivery guy back with the correct food. in the new food we found plenty of egg shell, when eggs are not part of the dish. pieces of plastic and some sort of weird clear goopy substance. we will no longer be ordering from 888.

Very Rude & food not good. I've ordered from 888 Chinese Take Out on several occasions and they delivered it to me. I called recently only to have the rude lady that answered the phone ask the delivery guy if he would deliver to me and he said no. The last couple of times I ordered (and they delivered it I might add) the food wasn't even worth it. I would not recommend 888 Chinese Take Out to anyone. There's a Chinese restaurant on every corner these days and I'll bypass this one going forward.
