In Short – Laurel Hills Park is a staffed, handicap-accessible division of the Raleigh Parks and Recreation. It contains a community center, lighted ballfields and outdoor basketball courts. It also contains what has been hailed as one of the most innovative playgrounds in the area, the All Children's Playground. The park is popping year-round with sensational swinging, incredible crawling, serious sliding as well as some world-class yelps and yells. The big deal here is a sprawling, wooden "fort" with platforms leading up and down, over and under.
