A build-your-own-burger joint that moonlights as a billiards bar, this Raleigh restaurant is known for its high energy, its satisfying food and its ability to please diners of all ages. Case in point: youngsters love customizing their own burgers and munching fries while adults appreciate playing pool and knocking back beers in the bar downstairs. This restaurant isn't quite fast food--diners place their orders and sit down until their food is ready.

Editor's Tips

Used to be a great pool hall w/ good food...

by wyn2win2

Now it's a good place to get a sandwich or burger, but who can afford to play pool there anymore??? $4 per hour for each person playing at the table! That's a 33% increase from the old still-a-bit-pricey $3/hr. The tables still aren't serviced regularly, you still can't find a decent stick....drinks are still just average. It is just disappointing that businesses feel they can gouge us like this. I'm not going back. Some bands i'll miss but you can catch local bands anywhere - places that don't allow the band to take breaks for 45-60 minutes.... but that's another story.

Awesome burgers

by raccoonlover

This is a great place to have fresh burgers for not that costly a price. The other items on the menu are also fantastic, especially the onion rings. It's also got a bar downstairs that plays local bands. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to eat, especially if you're near Crabtree and are looking for somewhere else to go.

Raleigh's Best Burgers and Service

by kvgillespie

Fat Daddy's is the best burger bar in Raleigh. And if you aren't craving a burger, then chow down on chicken sandwiches or steak sandwiches, hot dogs and more. Sides include fries, onion rings, fried okra and more! Bring your appetite! Create your own burger with their huge condiment bar. And save room for dessert because their homemade waffle cones with ice cream and brownies are the perfect sweet treat to top off your burger.

If you're thirsty, Fat Daddy's has an extensive beer selection. And don't forget to stop off downstairs to play pool and hear your favorite local band.

Their staff provides exceptional customer service and will gladly cater your event. Fat Daddy's is great for large groups - from sports teams to church groups - Fat Daddy's has something for everyone!

Bottom line - You can't go wrong with Fat Daddy's. Hands down the best burger bar in NC!!
