Despite its strip mall location, Waraji screams minimalist warehouse chic--an open ceiling with exposed vents and pipes, shiny black furniture, a granite sushi bar and a row of simple tatami rooms. Presentation is the forte of Waraji's fresh, reasonably priced sushi--from intricate nori rolls to elaborate ginger garnishes to the imported Asian dishware.

Great place for a date. Waitstaff was extremely friendly and informative. On the expensive side, but totally worth it when you taste their sushi. Recommend the Scari Jeri (not sure about the spelling) roll--also great basics like Spicy Tuna, Spider, etc. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely worth trying if you've never been--I'll definitely be going back soon!!

I don't know what the last reviewer is talking about. Waraji has THE best quality sushi in the area, hands down. Period. They are busy, but that is a sign of success. Don't listen to anyones reviews, just go and try for yourself. You won't be sorry you did.

Good Sushi and service but be prepared to wait for a table! Due to the small size and popularity of this location you may have to wait for a table. Overall very much worth the wait.

No cocktails served here. But the bar does offer beer, wine and sake.
Save Money:
Even better, indulge in one of Waraji's good-deal dinners, such as the toshiya--assorted sushi, beef teriyaki and shrimp tempura, served with miso soup and a house salad.
