What People Are Saying About Angus Barn Restaurant

In Short – A red barn outside and an upscale eatery inside, this is one of Raleigh's favorite landmarks. Soft lighting and cozy tables create a warm atmosphere. The in-house store adds country quirkiness while the Wild Turkey Lounge and wine cellar contribute a sophisticated element. Dinner begins with a complimentary relish tray, crackers, cheese and olives. A popular appetizer is crab cakes. Steak-and-tater fans should expect the ultimate entrees with selections from rib eye to filet mignon.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- Visit the Wild Turkey Lounge downstairs to check out the largest collection of Wild Turkey decanters in the world.
- When to Go:
- Special dinners in the wine cellar are themed: The Titanic Dinner re-creates the last night of the Titanic.

This restaurant does it right! Service is great and the food is spectacular. We went to Ruth's Chris and the steak was actually tough! Angus Barn is my absolute favorite. I love the atmosphere as well. The ambiance is wonderful! Thanks guys......Andrea Smith
Not as good as the hype

I know it has a lengthy tradition but I've been around 10 or 12 times and have never really had an exceptional meal. The wait is always long and the service is okay. It's definetly a different atmosphere but for real steak lovers it's not nearly the best in Raleigh. The Peddler which is just down the street is much better as is Sullivan's in downtown Raleigh.
Awesome Food and Service

Service is second to none - food is pretty good, too :). Ask for a tour of the wine cellar.
