Best Contemporary Furniture for the dollar on the East Coast. I have been a customer for over 6-7 years now have many different pieces I bought from them and would recommend them unhesitatingly to any one looking for contemporary furniture.

The salespeople are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Their inventory is truly amazing and we have experienced nothing but the highest level of professionalism in all our dealings with them.

We are moving out of state with a new job and will really miss shopping here. But when I am ready for my next major purchase I would definitely consider visiting them again, yes even from Northern Ohio. :)

Excellent furniture and service. We've made several purchases from Ambiente over the last year. Julia is very knowledgeable. They often sell pieces off the floor if you are really in a hurry and have a quick ship program for many items. Their showroom itself is worth seeing and we have found their service to be excellent.

good customer service. True about the website. We used to shop at Ambiente some time ago, but now we relocated and visit it only when we are in Raleigh. We keep getting e-mails from them every week or so. It looks like now we can order furniture from them any time.

Your website made your store 15 miles closer to me.. They are doing a great job changing all the time. It was pretty boring to look at their web site though, it used to be the same all the time for the last couple of years since I started to shop there. But it looks like they changed that as well. I absolutely love it. And it is very helpful too. Know what to expect before going to the store. If you have any doubts about Ambiente check out their web site and you will like the products they have to offer. Great job guys, the change I have been waiting for.

Best customer service. I have been trying to find the right dining set for a long time. I visited every furniture store in the area. I stopped by Ambiente twice. On my first visit, I was given the attention I needed but was left alone to look around without pressure. I ended up going back weeks later and Julia remembered me and was extremely helpful with her opinions, but not once pressured me.I ended up getting the table and chairs during a floor sample sale and saved a LOT of money and got the most exceptional pieces. Julia was so much fun to work with. What could have been a very stressful day turned into a lot of fun! I reccommend ANYONE in town take a trip to this store. I was told that they keep changing out the windows and get new items all the time. I can't wait to go visit again!

A+ Communication and Knowledge. As a man of business, I understand why people do not like to wait for large purchases. I don't mind waiting for something if I know it will be worth it. I placed an order which was estimated to arrive within 3 to 4 months. I received my order shortly thereafter, but was updated every step of the way. My sales person knew her products inside and out and answered every question I had with no problem. I thought she was the owner! I was updated when my order shipped and arrived, and though it ran a bit late, was compensated for the trouble. Customer service is very important to me and my business, and is definately a priority for this company as well. I felt like my business mattered, instead of feeling like just a customer. I recommend Ambiente to anyone who likes to be appreciated and expects quality for the money.

Very Poor Customer Service. Yes, they have a very good choice of contemporary furniture at a fair price, however be sure to confirm when you will actually receive your order. We placed an order in the middle of April (2008) and it is almost September and we still have not received our furniture. This is ridiculous.

We have not been given a straight answer on what the problem is. We should have demanded our deposit back weeks ago and purchased elsewhere. We will never purchase from Ambiente again.

great selection. This store has by far the best selection of modern furniture in the state. Their pricing is very fair and customer service is great. If you want good quality furniture and don't want to be over charged then you need to shop here.

Space-age, futuristic, high-tech, functional, a store that doesn't look to the past for inspiration.. In Short
This is furniture for folks who absolutely despise gingham curtains and frilly pillows, for folks who wouldn't be caught dead with a crocheted toilet paper cozy in their bathroom or a country cow motif in their kitchen. Even if you're not in the market to buy, this showroom is worth a look. It's the only store of its kind in the Triangle carrying sleek European designs not often seen in genteel Southern homes.

Amazing Service & Design. I was so pleased with the new furniture I purchased here, im not really sure why somebody posted about bad service they helped me in every possible way imaginable with my design. Thanks again guys I look forward to visiting you again in the near future when my daughter finishes the purchase on her house.
