Great Service

We arrived at prime dining hour on Cinco de Mayo, and though there was a crowd, we were seated in 15 minutes, just as the hostess had said. Our food came so quickly, we almost thought they must have given us someone else's order. The food was hot, delicious, and generous. I agree with a prior review about the wait staff. Don't expect any conversation, but hey, we were there to hang out with one another, so it was fine with us to not have a chatty waiter. The atmosphere was festive and unstuffy. We will be back!

Great Mexican Food

El Rodeo is always good. We have frequented several Mexican restaurants in Raleigh and this is by far our favorite. They have great decor and good service. Their enchillada sauce is the best! This place is always on point and very satisfying when you need good Mexican comfort food.

Best Mexican Food in Raleigh!

El Rodeo is the best Mexican Restaurant found in Raleigh. The food is always prepared quickly, tastes fantastic and is cheap! The service is also excellent with friendly and efficient waitors. They never let your glass get empty. The atmosphere is also very authentic and very clean. I was so impressed by this restaurant that I decided to date the manager!

This is a very nice restaurant that serves authentic Mexican and some Tex-Mex food. The "shrimp cocktail" is actually a type of seviche, and it's prepared well. The mojarro frito is a whole, fried fish, prepared Mexican-style. The service is very efficient (don't expect warm fuzzies, just good, quick service). If you're on a budget, you can eat here economically. If you have dietary restrictions (e.g. are a vegetarian or have celiac disease), you will find a good selection.
