What in the name of "holy hanna" happened???. This was our favorite place for a really great steak, good conversation and so much more. It was a training place for new managers and chefs, so the food and most everything else was awesome, including the almost constant checking on you to ensure you were having a great experience there!!! They have since been bought out (no surprise), changed the menu, no atmosphere, terrible wait staff (and slow), took three attempts to get two steaks done correctly, forget about the baked potato, the salad lettuce tasted a couple of weeks old and "new??" wings were no where close.....Back to the grill at home, I suppose, which all things considered is really not that bad...SMILE

Just Terrible!. Ate lunch at Lone Star and it was just terrible. The decor is cowboy-tacky, who wants to eat a steak with steer heads on the wall? The service is slow an inattentive, we couldn't even get a drink refill. The prices are awfully high for the quantity and quality of the food. The steak fries were so salty we couldn't even eat them. The ketchup and mustard bottles were filthy and crusted over. Overall it was just a bad experience and we will surely never eat there again!

User review by wilco001. They set up my sister's Bday dinner in the private room which I did not know they had. It was great for the 10 of us. Could fit many more. The service and food was excellant. We are hopefully going to go back there for my brother's 50th birthday dinner celebration.

Kid's night is great. Lone Star has a great steak and a great kid's night.

Tuesday nights 3 children (to age 10) eat free with a paying adult! And they really roll out the red carpet for us! We went about once a month for a while and they remembered us and gave us the same friendly college student as a waitress!

The kids got chocolate milk (not just cokes here) and a really nice plate of food! They even top it off with free ice cream with chocolate sauce for desert! We share our salads and veggies with the kids so we all get a "real meal". And most the time they have a magician who visits individual tables! Wonderful!

Good, cheap steak. If you don't want to break the bank, and you want a reasonably good steak, this'll work. Quicker and about the same price as Outback, without the trendy Aussie stuff, but about the same food. It's not in the same league as Angus Barn or It's Prime Only, but if you don't want to double your price for a better steak, then Lone Star will work.

Now, when Texas Roadhouse opens... all bets are off.

eat wisely!. Come to Lonestar, great steaks resonable price!

Two great steaks, a couple cold draft beers, tip and your done for $40.

Trust me, the like everyone is saying, the steaks are just as good as Ruth's, Angues Barn and sullivans for half the price.

You need to spend $200 to get lucky? If not, come to the 'star!

the best steak. Lonestar has the best steaks in town for the right price. Better then Outback, and just as good as the Angus Barn. Come out and try the best steak in town, they are there for the guests. All the steaks are hand cut that day in the resturant, the service is great, and I promise you will come back!
