Raleigh >Hrw INC An Associa Company
I gave 1 star only because I had too!!!. I have been dealing with this company for several months now. Tara, our rep., refuses to give requested information, i.e., copies of HOA bylaws, info about who is on our committees, minutes of board meetings, financial statements, etc., or answer questions. They appear to be acting quite unethically with our BOD. The sooner our HOA dumps HRW the better off we'd be but unfortunately it's appearing our BOD is "in bed" with HRW and that won't happen until some of us in the neighborhood cause a mutiny. There is a lot of secrecy. We are not notified when there will be a board meeting, and if we find out last minute there is one cannot attend without an appointment. We are paying an exhorbitant amount of money for what we are getting in return, which is very little. I do not trust these people at all!
What a pleasant experience-no longer hesitant. I will have to admit when my husband and I bought our house in December, I was a little hesitant about living in an HOA, due to a past experience with our previous house and the HOA company. But ever since we bought this house, HRW has been such a pleasure to work with. We had a few repairs that needed to be done, and they were on top of it, and had it complete in no time. Our landscaping looks awesome and is very welcoming when you enter into our street. They have been nothing but friendly and very responsive. I will have to say I am no longer hesitant about living in an HOA, especially when the HOA company is HRW. They have been nothing but wonderful to me, my husband and our neighbors and I could not ask for a better HOA company. I am not one for expressing my opinion on these sites, but I came across it while searching for a place to eat at, and I could not help but express my opinion, and give a shout out to HRW. Thanks HRW for all your help and for the work you do. You rock!
Please do not rent from this horrible company!!!. Bad attitude is all I get from this company in regards to things that I have to deal with in my rental unit. To have anything fixed takes a single act of congress and I have to call constantly to make things happen. I have never felt so disrespected and ignored by a rental company in my life. Please do not rent from these people...you will be doing things that a HOME OWNER would have to pay for and they probably won't be willing to help you!!
Unfortunately you have the wrong HRW - we do NOT do rentals. Sorry you had a difficult experience. HRW, Inc is a community management company and our goal is servcie excellence!
Would not recommend this association to anyone. I have signed up for this account just to write a review of HRW. Overall I have had a very unpleasant experience with this management firm. It is incredibly difficult to actually get a hold of my property manager, and once work orders are opened, I have to follow-up several times to make sure they are actually completed. The association must contract to the cheapest labor available - construction work is messy and workers leave garbage around the property. Even escalating issues within the company will not help, as the upper management is very rude and incredibly cheap. Almost went into a small claims litigation with the association. Also, billing is frequently incorrect, as I have received several late notices for payments made on time. Overall, I would not recommend this managent company to anyone. As mentioned in a previous posting - there is frequent turnover within the organization - was working on several issues with property managers who left the company and did not give any sort of training to the next set of managers as to what the issues are, so had to go through the whole process again. Horrible experience.
As the management agent for the association we work at the direction of the board. We have listened to feedback and continually strive to improve service. In the years since this review we have made changes and our accounting services are among the best, our staff tenure has increased significantly and we have established a dedicated customer care department. Make your own informed decision after meeting service providers to find the right management partner for your association.
DUPLICITOUS. Based of first hand experience - get out before it is too late. If you are in any housing or association managed by this firm, lobby your Board or property owner to switch to a reputable property management firm. If you are in a dispute with them or the law firm they turned you over to, get legal help IMMEDIATELY - ask around there must be plenty attorneys who have had the unsavory experience of extracting honest hard working homeowners and residents out of the messes set down by this management group.
HRW the mis-management company. My neighborhood has been through numerous employees at HRW all of them are slow to respond, lie about scheduling repairs and work and have led to low re-sale appreciation in my neighborhood. I have have numerous instances where contractors hired by HRW to maintain my townhome have caused more damage than they have repaired.... Is there no liability in that???? I have had water damge, mold, landscaping castropes all related to contractors they have hired. You cant trust anything to be done correctly or on time.
