Divorced people do not trust them. After my divorce, I returned to the Coastal to save money after having previously had an account there with my former spouse. There was still a loan account open for overdraft with a 0 balance. I was told I could not use this or have overdraft for my checking account. Then my ex spouse returned to Coastal, and they DID let him use it, despite the fact we are divorced and my name is still on it and I don't have access! They didn't question him or call me before allowing him to do this. Of course he has maxed it out and it's hurting my credit, but they won't take my name off of it. Very lazy and underhanded of them not to call me or make him open his own account.…
Not even worth the benefit of being in a credit union. Zero customer service. I was apalled. Try another credit union or a community bank.
