rude and condesending indeed!
by emsugar02 at Citysearch
I was so annoyed after leaving this bike shop today that I decided to see what kind of reviews they had. I was glad to read that others had a similar expierence. I thought I might be over reacting and it was just me. Now I am postive that the employee that I was dealing with was being such a jerk! I was just stopping in to try and buy a product. He acted like I was wasting his time, being condesending and rude. I don't understand why. I had called to find out if the product i was looking for was there. Was told it was. When i arrived it wasn't. NO big deal, but this guy was trying to bully me into driving to another store. He kept insisiting i must have called a different store to begin with. (i didn't) I didn't have the time at the moment to drive across town but he kept mumbeling to me, "its really not that far... its just right down the street"
I kept explaining myself for some reason. it was just weird. Screw that place. I'll support another biz.
Best bicycle service around
by ezfeature at Citysearch
I believe this store has some of the best and most experienced bicycle technicians in the area. I can always count on the service team to provide a quick, accurate and honest appraisal of my bicycle whenever I bring it in. Even during the busy season in the spring, they're quick to complete the service and get me back on the road in time for the weekend group rides.
Too elitist

I try to avoid going to All Star because almost every time I go there, I am treated as if I don't know anything about bikes. There are a few employees there who always treat me with respect, but unfortunately most employees at All Star do not. I am not alone in this view- I've discussed it with my cycling buddies, and they feel the same way.
