so much going on here ! too much fun !. My friends and I have always heard of the place and we finally went there and MAN ! this place has so much going on.

They have several dj's playing music in different parts of the club and a band on the stage in another club.

I never realized how big this place was.

People don't know what they are missing by going to other clubs. My friends and I will be back

Used to be a good place. Have enjoyed in the past but the new management is not cool. Don't like the way they treated our group the other night. You would think they would appreciate the business brought in by our private party and DJ. Not sure if I will be back ...

Won't be back. As a member of one of the MeetUp groups I was insulted by the way our event was cut short, and my friends being disrespected. Bad business practice and I will NOT return!

Don't trust management!. As a co-organizer of a few popular meet-up groups I'd like to warn others that management at the Longbranch can't be trusted. We brought a large group of our members to this club with the understanding that our DJ would be allowed to play until midnight. The majority of people in the building were there due to our meet-up that night. Our DJ was not even being paid by the Longbranch. The DJ was DJ George which just recently played before the 2011NHL All-Star game in Raleigh. Needless to say he is a professional well respected DJ. At 10:00 just when the party was really rocking the manager decided that he would switch to his house DJ thus using our meet-up group to fill the house disrespecting our DJ and our group. Our group had spent plenty of money at the bar since 7:00 pm. I hope the management realizes that meet-up consists of thousands of people and word spreads fast! If you do business with the management at the Longbranch make sure you have the deal in writing because their word means nothing!

Caution when making arrangement for gathering. Unfortunately this is the lowest rating someone can give as it should be extremely negative!! Be cautious when making arrangements for a gathering at this place. Get it in writing or else you'll be sorry! We had 150+ members coming with a special DJ for an event. They advised us he could only play till midnight then they turned around and played switch a roo on us the night of the event cutting the DJ off at 10p claiming it was company policy and their DJ would need to take over. Convinced they did it to lure 150+ in for the money. Disgraceful and then decided to block anyone who made public comments on their facebook page. Be weary guys, they apparently have a lot to hide!

The Longbranch is BACK!!!. The Longbranch is BACK!!! The club reopened on Dec. 26 2009, with an all new look. Longbranch is the home of country music in North Carolina and has showcased some of the biggest names in the US. Longbranch offers a large country music bar and concert venue, a night club to entertain Raleigh's dancing crowd (all of them, it's that big), a sports bar, a VIP room, and a disco bar. The Branch is back. I love the "Branch" it is one of Raleigh's staples. Saturday night is the best night. Good bands and a good variety of music. Glad to have it back

Long Branch NOW OPEN. I've been with friends three times now, best time is on Saturdays VERY BUSY- Wish people would come out on Friday, when we all really need a drink,..lol,... great music, nice staff. Alittle something for everyone from line dancing to shakin your butt,..you can even go just to play pool if that's your thing. See you there.

Closed...but reopeing soon. True, this place has been closed for a while. But it's the only place in Raleigh that has a big enough dance floor that you don't feel like a ping pong ball on it. I'm looking forward to it reopening.
