Chef Paul knows veal!.
My husband and I recently celebrated my birthday at Cafe Tiramisu, and once again, I was quite happy with everything. After being a pescatarian for the past six months I was looking forward to the
osso buco, which is awesome. I was not disappointed. Everything was great!
I've been eating at Cafe Tiramisu since it first opened, and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal I've ever had, especially any of the veal offerings. The service is always great. My only complaint is that the place is so small that if you'd don't plan ahead and make a reservation, your chances of getting seated in any reasonable amount of time are slim, especially on the weekends. But great things do come in small packages!…
Best tiramisu in town!. We went there with groupon for $30 to eat $60 and made reservation for Sunday. On coupon it is written that to mention about coupon during reservation which made us little curious. Sunday we went there around 6:30pm and friendly front staff seated us then greeted by Asian female server who seems to have thing under control. We had calamari as starter and then Cesar salad which I thought was pretty good. With bottle of wine and two entree then plate of tiramisu which was recommended was the best I had since NY. Bill came to around $120 less $60 so costing us $90 but overall experience was great and was well worth it.…
Great Little Place.
Love this place. Call early though as it is small and intimate,,,not a lot of tables.
Staff make you feel like family. Last nite our waitress Benh really made the evening special. So Sweet and caring. A fun witty sparkle. Thanks for all the wedding info, Benh!!
Food is never disappointing. The menu is varied.
Have no idea how anyone can be disappointed.
Get the mussels for an appetiser.. comes in a wonderful wine and cream sauce.…
Cat Show.
Huge mistake. The "Too much effort" sentiment works both ways.
We were greeted by a young lady who said without a smile "Do you have a table or will you be going to the bar?" We replied, with a smile, "Both". What a conundrum.
Then the bartender intruded on our conversation. Then our hosts showed up.
Then the food was boring. Who ever heard of mussels without some sort of sauce or broth? Air popped mussels anyone?
The place was well staffed but unsettled. The service was very slow, bossy and otherwise preoccupied with everything we did instead of what they could have been doing.
Advice and Warning: Be on your best behavior. Do your level best to cheer up this staff. Follow all their rules. Make it your business to improve their business. And you'll be fine. Or not.
My favorite was when we walked out, we noticed that the outdoor dining faced the back of a fast food restaurant. Nice ambiance!
The only thing keeping this dead, hostile and unenthusiastic place open is the fact that people live within walking distance.

Enjoy!…
