all around terrible restaurant. everything from ownership to the service is terrible. The owner has employed some really horrible servents and cooks. the manager's are nice, but that does not excuse all of the cons of this business.

Great food. I was a little shocked by the bad reviews on this restaurant. I will admit that the service isn't outstanding but they always have wonderful food! I just wanted to stick up for my favorite breakfast spot!

Horrible Restaurant and Ownership. I was in there on sunday with a party of 4 and was told their would be a wait for a few minutes. Needless to say I waited for 20 minutes being skipped over twice because they said that they cant sit 4 people at a 6 person table. Their was no people ahead of us when we got their but we got skiped over twice?? I called to complain and the owner of the restaurant told me that it was their policy that we do not sit 4 people at a 6 person table and no matter what this wont change. In not so many words his response was to deal with it. He stated it was more efficient to leave a table for 6 open for an hour or 2 in hopes of a 5 or 6 person party comming in then to sit a group of 4 there.... This comming straight from his mouth...... are you kidding me??? Please tell me how that is more efficient.... I will never visit this location or any in the raleigh area as he is the owner for all.......I'll give my business to IHOP a company who cares for their guests!!!!

rather eat somewhere else. the young aftrican american hostess tried to start a fight with a female customrs. she knew ordered a meal that was less expensive.though she tried to start a fight with her.told herordered something else more expensive.the girlfriend of the owner saw her being mean to me.she not do anything about it. just stood there. i had to ask her to do something.the girlfriend of the restaurant tells females that it is good hair dye job on females.one female told her that was rude. she said not know it is rude.though the girlfriend of the owner has blonde hair,dye.also waitstaff put hands into plate or on the food for female customers.they said not know it is rude.food utsenils in the middle of the floor of the restaurant.not busy,employees would not volunteer to clean it up. slow to clean dirty restaurant up,employees.

Worst Service In Raleigh. If i wanted to experience no service I could have stayed home, but decided to got out for breakfast, unfortunately Courtney's does not care who gets served as long as the employees have time to hudle together and discuss what they did over the weekend, or what they are going to do next weekend, after all it is kinda rude for me to expect service when the employees are busy gabbing away. I ordered eggs over medium which arrived runny, which I asked to be cooked some more, which they did, and brought back cold toast, and cold bacon, and the coffee tasted like dish water. dont waste your money or time eating here, stay home or go to IHOP, even Denny's is better then this dump.

not good service. the female hostesses and waitresses are only nice to groups of male and children in the group.rude to female customers/tables.the hostesses rush to get rid of female customers.they donot talk much to female customers. rude face and not friendly at the time also to pay. they talk to females,sarcastic tone.management sees rude behavior of waitresses and not do anything. the waitresses rush to get rid of female customers.they know the food order is wrong.not volunteer to correct it. and pick up food off the plates of females with hands. and put hands on food of female customers.waitresses not volunteer to do the following to the female customers: wait on,bring food,drink,and bill,offer to bring more drink,see if need anything more,to write down food order.females have to ask the waitress to do not volunteer.waitresses walk away from females in the middle of waiting on them,no explination. they interrupt,talk back rude and try to start fights with customers. waitresses not want to write down order.tell customers it is not a job requirement.waitresses know order is wrong.not volunteer to correct it.

BAD SERVICE. RUDE WAITRESS CAROLYN AND HOSTESS. THE HOSTESS A WHITE FEMALE MIDDLE AGED. THEY ONLY NICE TO MALE CUSTOMERS. THE HOSTESS NOT ASK THE CUSTOMER IF NEEDED CREAM AFTER BROUGHT COFFEE.SHE JUST RUDE TO FEMALE CUSTOMERS. NOT NICE.CAROYLN RUDE TO FEMALE PATRONS. SHE HAD A HABIT OF TAKING FOOD OFF THE PLATE OF FEMALE CUSTOMERS WITH HER HANDS. SOMEBODY TOLD HER IT WAS RUDE. NOT SEEM TO CARE. THERE IS A RUDE KEVIN MALE HOST. HEOVERCHARGES CUSTOMERS. AND CUSTOMERS HAVE TO FIGHT WITH HIM TO GET THE CORRECT PRICE. HE TELLS JOKES TO CUSTOMERS THAT SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES HAS DIED. THOSE ARE SOME OF THE BAD JOKES HE TELLS TO THE CUSTOMERS. CAROLYN RUSHES TO GET RUDE OF FEMALE CUSTOMERS. THE RESTAURANT IS NOT BUSY AT ALL.THE WAITSTAFF WILL TAKE CRUMBS OFF THE TABLE AND PUT IT ON THE FLOOR. AND NOT CLEAN THE FLOOR UP.

Tastey food; clean dining room; cuter than it looks from the outside. To my previous reviewers I would say - try Courtneys again. I've been there twice and I think it has changed since your last visits. It's true that there was an odd delay to be seated. But once my friend and I were seated the service was friendly and fast. The food was great. and came in generous portion sizes. We both got the eggs, bacon, and french toast combo. One odd thing - this must be the one breakfast restaurant in all of NC that doesn't serve biscuits! Never fear, they had lots of other delicious-sounding items on the menu.

THE RUDEST OWNER OF ANY PLACE AROUND!!. Well let me start off by saying that I have given this place multiple times to get their selves in gear and it isn't happening. This restaurant used to be THE place to get breakfast in the Raleigh area. Then about 10 or so years ago the owners sold it to one of their waitresses and ever since then the service, food, and attitudes have gone to "hell in a handbasket!" When you go to a restaurant you expect for the management to be on point, courteous and well mannered. Not here! I was in there this past Friday for brunch with 2 co-workers. We ordered our food and were having a fine time and we realized we needed something so I attempted to get the attention of a passing server - to no avail and shortly after that the owner glares over toward our table with this look of just disgust and hatred.... It was uncalled for and unwarranted. If she was being rude because we needed help then it would seem she being the manager and all should have asked us what we needed. Needless to say she didn't do that. Instead we asked our server what her problem was and if she was okay or what. It just seemed to be very hostile and we were not comfortable being in there. Our server went to "find" her 3 times until finally she came back and said "Ohh she left." I bet she did... So there you have it. The food is par, the service is par, and the management is a rude woman. SO if you want good breakfast go to Brigs on Creedmoore it's worth the wait and definitely worth not putting up with the drama at Courtney's.

Terrible experience. Wll lets see, the service was horrendous and the food was sub par. The coffee tasted poorly and did not even taste better that McDonald's coffee. Very disappointted.....
