I love Michael Deans because it is, in general, a crowd pleaser. I have taken everyone from business clients and colleagues to my mother-in-law to this establishment, and am never disappointed in the food or service, regardless of the occasion.

Did anyone else get food poisoning from eating the oysters ?

After eating at Michael Deans had to check into ER for "severe gastric disturbance." Anyone else have this happen?

There's complimentary valet. Suggested tip is $1 (minimum) for the person parking your car; $1 (minimum) for the person who retrieves your car.
Know Before You Go:
If you're a smoker, or enjoy dining alfresco, arrive in the early evening. The bar and the terrace are the only two areas that allow smoking.
Where To Sit:
The cavernous main room is typical of a dining room in the Old South. Diners get a chance to watch the chef in action in the room's exposed cooking areas.
