In Short – Connectivity is the word here: this high-energy sports bar offers plenty of satellite feeds, cable and Wi-Fi. With a full menu of traditional appetizers-buffalo wings, quesadillas and onion rings-along with entrée-sized meals, you won't go hungry either. And unlike most sports bars, Blinco's offers both a smoking and a separate non-smoking section that holds multiple widescreens.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- In between games, you can shoot some pool or try your hand at some electronic golf.
- The Extras:

Blincos use to be one of my favorite places to go to watch sports games and eat great food. Lately I have noticed alot of staff turnover and lack of service. After talking to other patrons and servers, I learned that management is that biggest problem. Not scheduling properly when needed at busy times. Servers needing a manager and they can't be found. I have managed and owned a restaurant and i know a manager plays a huge role with service and customer relations. Recently while there my food got messed up. The manager blamed the server for it, instead of fixing problem. Things happen in a restaurant .beyond a servers control(kitchen cooks, the bar etc) Not to say servers dont mess up as well. I just dont feel this place works as a team to please the customers. If it was my place I would clean house, keep the ones that truly care about customers and service and fire the ones that only half do their jobs and want to cover their ass!!
Staff tries but needs training and experience

First time here, was with a group of about 20. We reserved a room for 6 but a few people from another group were still watching a game in that same room where their team was behind by about 30 points. Poor planning by Blinco's, manager admitted they usually double book.
Our group had to wait almost two hours for the other group to vacate the room we had already booked. This is totally unacceptable and really stupid business practice as the other group had long past stopped ordering anything. Blinco's could have provided some appetizers or drinks for our group in consideration - they eventually did a little while before we got to the room - a single pitcher for 20 people and only after I suggested it. Pretty clueless.
It didn't get much better. Staff tried but they did not have enough people to assist and it took at least another 45 minutes to take our orders. On top of it all, they still charged the mandatory 20% group gratuity!! How pathetic can you get?
Great food and beer selection, great place to watch a game

Best wings in Raleigh, HD TVs all over restaurant and bar.
- Pros: Lots of HD TVs everywhere
- Cons: none that I can think of
Decent but it has some flaws.

Blincos moved a few years ago from Quail Corners. It is not near as good as the old place but not that bad either. The food is pricey unless you get the lunch specials. The bar staff- whew -are not attractive at all. Hire some pretty college girls and have some decent beer specials. Last time i was in there for lunch the place was almost deserted. I had a chicken sandwich and a tea and it was $10!
- Pros: Roomy great darts
- Cons: food homely bar staff
Great service, menu too pricey

Blinco's is a good place to watch a game although the crowd skews towards the elderly side so it's not the most exciting place to see college sports unless that is your scene. The TVs around at the bar are getting outdated and it is really smokey in the bar area, too.
I have been really disappointed in the price increases on the food. I mean $8.50 for a plain burger, $9.50 for one with bleu cheese on it? I normally get hungry while I'm there but will wait to go to Quizno's to eat after I leave.
The staff is top notch, though, and really make it worth while.
They are usually busy, especially on game days and Friday and Saturday nights so they are doing something right for sure.
