In Short – This restaurant flaunts bright parrot colors and a high, cabana-like ceiling. The massive island-themed deck is a magnet for Raleigh's easygoing singles who sip cocktails while listening to the steel drum band or hangout by the outdoor fireplace. The menu features quirky Caribbean food, such as coconut shrimp, Jamaican-grilled wings and jerk chicken, and ultra-slushy drinks, including the frozen Bahamarita--kiwi, strawberry and mango ices swirled in a martini glass.
Good place for drinks and snacks

The food here may not be anything close to authentic, but it's good! We had the jamaican wings, portabello sandwich, the house salad and were impressed with all items.
Service was very friendly and fun, the atmosphere out on the patio is fantastic. Why didn't we come here sooner?
- Pros: Reasonably priced mixed drinks
- Cons: Menu not exactly authentic to Caribbean theme
Just below average

I have been here for lunch with coworkers and dinner for family. Each time the service was slow, the price was a little high for what you get. The food itself can be delicious, but the atmosphere is loud and again, slow. The servers all seem to be on the verge of frantic, dropping off food and leaving right away. The only waiting space is right in front of the door, leading to a big crowd milling around in a small area. The drinks are imaginative, if unevenly poured.
- Pros: Creative dishes and drinks
- Cons: Loud with nonattentive service
Have to try at least once

I loved this place!! The food still makes my mouth water and the crowd was family oriented and for those looking to go have drinks with friends, I even noticed a lot of cute guys around! The parking was great and the service was fabulous...I love west indian food, and this definitely puts a twist on it. They close the doors and 11pm and I wish they would stay open a little longer, but other than this I have no complaints. One of the best places Ive been to since I moved to Raleigh a year ago.
- Pros: excellent service and food, parking, drinks
- Cons: closes doors too early (11pm)
