What Happened?. I'm not sure what happened to this wonderful restaurant but Saturday evening was my last meal there!

Food and service was not even close to what I remember.

Must have changed chefs!

pretentious and not so tasty. What a disappointment. We found the staff to be stiff and pretentious...not a hint of warmth. The food was mediocre at best and, with two tables with parties of six near us, the acoustics were reminiscent of an elementary school cafeteria. Raleigh has too many fantastic restaurant choices to make Bloomsbury even worth one visit.

Bad Experience Again. So as one reviewer wrote, you come here for a night to remember. To remember another bad experience is what I found. The food isn't that great, come on. From the moment you enter the front door the entire staff is rude. If you're not one of the regulars, DON'T GO.

Left a sour taste in my mouth. Our night started off just fine. Our app came out in a timely fashion but from then on it got worse. First, the bartender ran out of the liquor I was drinking and could not suggest anything. My entree came out luke warm and left something to be desired. Our server was quite rude and to the point of insulting.

I will not be dining at this establishment again. Try Glenwood Grill down the street.

Wonderful experience time and time again!. The Bloomsbury Bistro has a wonderfully attentive staff and Chef John Toler produces fabulous menu after fabulous menu! With the ever-changing fare, all local and fresh, you can go often without ever repeating a dish!

I only took a star away from the Bistro because service is typically slow - although I enjoy this type of dining experience, for some people it can be frustrating.

Most recently, I took my entire family as well as my boyfriend's family for a graduation celebration. Both our families are small-town folks, and we were a little worried they might find the food fussy and too exotic, but everyone loved it!

Thank you to everyone at the Bloomsbury Bistro for making every meal I have with you wonderful and memorable!

One of the best restaurants in the area. Bloomsbury Bistro is a first class restaurant. The food and service are always excellent and the menu is updated on a regular basis. Even though the area has gotten a number of new and interesting restaurants in the last few years, Bloomsbury continues to outshine for atmosphere, service and food.

Incredible, Delectable. Wow... this classy place is hidden in the perfect little nook! We spent New Year's Eve with a group of friends and found a new favorite restaurant. This is a true Bistro. The setting is inviting and intimate, the lighting calm and relaxing. The food - amazing. The service - on point. It was a little warm inside, but that may have been due to the amount of customers for New Years Eve celebrations... 5 Stars for this 5 Points restaurant! Bravo! We'll be back very soon...

An Evening to Remember. Everything about this restaurant was great! The wait staff were extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was excellent, and the meat dishes that we ordered were cooked perfectly to temperature. They really went out of their ways to show us that our business was appreciated. This restaurant really has its act together, down to every little detail. For example, the waiters learn all of the customers' names from the reservations book, so that they can be greeted and addressed properly.

The extensive wine list from well-known Californians to exceptional Bordeaux enhanced our evening to make our dining experience truly memorable.

I look forward to my future meals at Bloomsbury Bistro, and you should check it out too!

Seat Away From The Kitchen!. The food was exceptional and the waitstaff worked well together to see to our needs. However, the seating should be away from the kitchen door because we spent our entire dinner trying to ignore the loud yelling and foul language coming from the kitchen.
